Course Description: To introduce advanced writing, reading, listening and speaking skills to
students who need to complete higher academic programmes in a university or a college. Further,
the student will be introduced to the skills needed to succeed in English Language at International
English Language Testing System.

Weekly Class Schedule:


Monday (1 period/08.40 am - 09.15 am)

Grading Criteria:
 Final Exam (July 2023) - 40%
 Homework Completion on timely manner - 10%
 Notebook Completion (Neatness, content and accuracy) - 10%
 Individual Assignment - 20%
 Group Assignment - 10%
 Attendance - 10%
Total

Grading Scales:
90% - 100% = A* 80% - 89% = A 70% - 79% = B
60% - 69% = C 59% - 50% = D 49% - 40% = S
39% or Less = E

Course Requirements:
-The students are expected to complete their assignments which cover 20 marks out of the total.
This will help the students be engaged in studies throughout the academic semester.

-The students are expected to read and analyze the use of language in the textbook and newspapers
assigned. They will be able to improve their vocabulary and use of language.

-For the final test, 40 marks have been allocated while 20 marks have been allocated for Homework
and group assignment.
