There are a lot of prestigious schools across our country which provide quality education to students. One
of the well-known school in the Philippines is the Palawan State University. A government funded
institution that is situated in Tiniguiban Heights, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. The university is

C. Curriculum
 Curriculum that the school follows:
The K-12 Basic Education Curriculum is being implemented in the
institution. Which is in compliance with the Republic Act 10533, which
mandates that the 2013 enhanced basic education legislation execute an expanded
educational period from 10 to 12 years, adding grades 11 and 12.

 Co-curricular/extra-curricular activities
As of right now, there are fewer extracurricular activities taking place in
the school during this academic year. This is in accordance with the safety health
protocols that have been implemented by the National IATF to reduce the
likelihood of students contracting COVID-19. One of the more recent activities
that has been carried out online is the school's intramural competitions; this is
because the school conducts the majority of its activities online, making use of
various social media platforms such as Facebook.

 Mode of Learning
DepEd and CHED have proposed a set up for blended learning as part of
the Philippines' short and long term strategies for our education system. The goal
of this proposal is to ensure that Filipino students continue to receive a quality
education in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the Palawan State
University conceived of techniques that will assure the continuity of learning
while simultaneously protecting the health and well-being of the students as the
university's highest concern. Blended learning, which combines in-person classes
with online instruction, and distance learning are two of the most effective ways
to continue providing students with a high-quality education in the midst of the
pandemic. The new normal education at the institution was carried out through a
variety of different learning modalities.

 Assessment
As new ways of learning become prevalent, traditional methods of
evaluating student performance will need to evolve as well in order to remain
relevant in today's educational landscape. The evaluation of students, including
quizzes, examinations, and performance tasks, is carried out online with the
assistance of a variety of programs, such as Google Classrooms and Google
Forms.

have completed education-related programs and are all qualified to the
level required by the school.

II. Analysis

The school is crucial in developing the abilities and minds of young people. Thus,
schooling during a pandemic is a difficult road for parents, teachers, and kids alike. As students
are no longer able to attend school due of the COVID-19 threat. Numerous difficulties arise
during the online lesson because one of the biggest issues in our nation is the internet
connectivity. As many parents have lost their employment, they have struggled to provide their
kids with devices and a budget. The hardest trip of their careers is being faced by teachers as
they struggle to print out modules and deliver them to pupils who are located in remote areas.
Due to the pupils' inability to learn from their teachers about their subjects throughout the
epidemic, education had a negative impact on their academic achievement. Modules alone are
insufficient for students to learn, especially those who learn slowly and require the teachers' help.
Students experienced frustrations, anxiety, and worries about their futures if they can't attend
face-to-face classes in schools due to the pandemic.

In order to give students an excellent education, parents and instructors play a vital roles.
They should work together to make sure that every kid receives the excellent education they
deserve. To develop a successful student, teachers will truly require the support of the parent
because it takes a village to raise a child. To be able to continue education amidst the pandemic,
truly speak how we value our education. Adapting to a new normal set up of education has
affected us, students in holistic aspect of our life. Despite of those challenges we encountered
during this trying times, we have to look to the brighter side. That we become resilient, flexible
and adapted to change in order to thrive and survived in this global crisis. Let us put in our mind
that in order for us to succeed in battling this unseen enemy we have to collaborate with one
another, for this will end and everything will be back to normal we’ve known.

III. Reflection/Insights

Through this activity, I was able to have a better understanding of and appreciation for
how important it is to have a high-quality learning environment. Whether it be in terms of their
academic development or their personal development, the kids' growth and development are
greatly influenced by the facilities and teaching staff at their schools. If a student is in a good
learning environment, one in which they are encouraged to enhance their skills and unleash the
inner potential they already possess, then that student will be able to develop an eagerness to
study. They are being helped and given sufficient attention to take care of their requirements so
that they can develop to their greatest potential. Students will have a variety of opportunities to
perfect their abilities and develop their talents thanks to the resources that the school provides.
Learning shouldn't be limited to simply reading about concepts in books; rather, it should involve
putting those concepts into practice in real-world scenarios or putting them to the test in a
laboratory setting with all the necessary equipment. Students are able to acquire a broader range
of knowledge, which, in turn, contributes to an improvement in their academic status as a result
of the numerous resources that are available in the school. Because they have their own facilities,
students who have an interest in fields such as sports or the performing arts have a better chance
of succeeding in those areas.

One of the institutions that satisfies the criteria for global accreditation is the Palawan
State University. This is due to the university's commitment to environmentally responsible
practices and its wide range of facilities, which can meet the various requirements of students
and help them develop in a holistic manner. Everyone should work together if they want to have
a meaningful learning experience. Teachers, students, and students' teachers ought to collaborate
closely. Everyone play a role in ensuring a quality education for all.
