whichare expected to compete in the global era. Science and technology education holds
great roleto prepare the country towards a future that is increasingly laden with problems -
the problemsof new and emerging one after another. As the above description the
development of scienceand technology must be balanced religious proportional system, so as
not to produce scholarsand scientists who justifies any means. The Indonesian nation is
experiencing a crisis of moral, ethical and even crisis on religiosity in religion. So that the
improvement of nationaleducation mechanism urged to do the reform and restructuring. This

characteristics of the nation'sdignity and virtuous, and religious.

A. The Importance of An Education
Education is a conscious and premeditated attempt to create an atmosphere of learningand the
learning process so that learners are actively developing the potential for him to havethe
spiritual power of religion, self-control, personality, intelligence, character, and skillsneeded
him, society, nation and state. The explanation is obvious, that education is forming anational
identity that includes three domains, namely cognitive, affective and
psychomotor.Reliability / quality of education will affect the life of a nation and society, both
now and thefuture. Thus the ability of the nation in the face of the future is determined by the
mechanismand an education system that is owned and running.
Education is the right of every citizen, but there are still some of them who do not
getthis right. Until now, the biggest opportunity to gain access to a good education only
childrenof the rich and smart. With capitalize economic power is more than adequate,
supported byhigher thinking skills, be a contributing factor to gain access to better education.
They are agreat opportunity to enter elite schools, quality, national standards, and even
international.This creates an environment that is conducive to teaching and learning, as
supported by thequality of the students who had a high intellect. In addition, the availability
of a completeinfrastructure that helps to realize the educational establishment.
Considering the national education that not all meet national education
standards,according to the author's thoughts are very sees the need to improve education in
Indonesia invarious components. With the complexity of the phenomenon of the future, this
nation is notenough just to pass on to generations of the nation's education with educational
conditionsthat the terms of weaknesses and shortcomings. Expected by revamping the
existing education, Indonesia will be able to meet future full of uncertainty. No one will know
the stateof the future with certainty, although based on the existing data do predictions -
predictions, but it all still are approximate and uncertain.
Based on the development of science and technology, which until now continues to
run,the conditions of human life in this world / between countries with one another more and
nolimits of space and time. This condition will trigger a life increasingly fierce competition
fromthe various sectors of human life, human beings and nations go forth to be able to
competeand survive in the international arena. The description shows how important the role
of education that will shape the personality and ability of a nation and the world community.
Weaknesses and difficulties in the education system and the mechanism of theIndonesian
nation must be addressed and reformed, so that the future generation capable of facing the
challenges of the future. Education reform should be carried out, in order to produce a
generation of people who are able to face global challenges.
Education Primary Capital For A Development
In accordance with the preamble of the 1945 Constitution that the purpose of
educationis educating the nation. Education is also one of the factors determining the future
of a nation.Therefore, the state should be concerned with educational elements in aspects of
life toachieve qualified human resources and attention in preparing competitive human
resources.
Educated Human Resources will become the main capital of national
development,especially in the nation's economy. That is, the more highly educated human
resources in acountry, the easier will be for the success of national pebangunan. However, the
resulting HR must be a leader in all areas and is ready to face the challenges of the times. Not
makeeducation There are at least three reasons why education should be put on the most
important part of anation. First, for the economic development of the nation. In education,
students gainknowledge and skills needed to live and competence in the field of economics.
Second, as acomparison of the value of the investment. The return value is given from a
comparison of thetotal costs used to finance the education of a smaller total revenue gained
when entering theworld of work. Third, the function of social, political and cultural.
Contribution of educationto human resource development, political development, attitudes
and skills of citizenship, aswell as for the development of Indonesian culture.
Empowering education can be done by giving full attention and priority on
education.Empowerment in terms of systems, strategies, input and output as the substance of
educational attainment. On the substance of the empowerment of education is expected
toachieve qualified human resources, adaptive and generative in solving various problems
thatare so complex in the future.
This is the initial capital must be developed to be an asset of national development.
The presence of qualified human resources must be accompanied by their moral values
keinsananon each individual, to be able to hold the mandate and is always responsible for any
act whichhe did. And only with the human resource development of this, our nation could
stand tegagequal with other nations.
The investment return through this education is not visible in a short time, it took a
longtime to enjoy the results. But the results can be felt by the whole nation of the various
fields.In education as an investment is not simply to collect as many human resources, but
humanresources as diprioitaskan berkualitaslah the main capital.

manythings. Parents are the first teachers time for us to ask the little things to big. Over time,

thinking,morality, and human behavior to conform to the existing norms, such as religious

activity that is directed to change habits (behavior) of man. According to John
Dewey,education is a process of updating the meaning of experience. This will probably
occur in theordinary association or associations of adults with young people. In fact, it may
also occur accidentally and institutionalized to generate social sustainability. This process
involves thesupervision and development of minors and the group where he lives.
Education is an important capital in the human life let alone in successive race,
withenough education, insight, extensive knowledge will be able to prepare qualified
younggeneration that is able to build the nation and the country better.of course, education,
ability, insight and pengetahuanlah we need. In the educational bench alot of things we
dapatkan.Tetapi some reason a lot of people in Indonesia who do not get aneducation bench
as it should be, especially in remote areas around the area of Indonesia.Looks like their
neighbor awareness of the importance of education needs to be improved.
