TOPIC 1 : Talk about one of the most popular sports or games in your
country
Football is a very popular sport in our country and a great number of people play
this game. In term of popularity and people love for football, I would say it is well
developed in my country. Most of the people in Viet Nam know the rules of this
game and they play it whenever they get time. Two teams participate in a football
game and each team has 11 player on their side. One of these 11 player is the
goalkeeper who always ties to protects the goalbar. Rest of the playes play in
different parts of the fields namely, defense, mid- fielding, attacking- position and
their aim is to put the ball into the net of the oppnemt tean's goal for. The legth of
the game is 90 minutes. This is probably the most popular game in the world and I
think people in Viet Nam have a great passion for this sport.
TOPIC 2: What are some of the common ways of the keeping fit/ stay healtly?
What way do you often use?
Staying healthy is one of the most popular trend that every body most popular
trend that every body are concern about nowadays. There are many ways for you to
keeping fit. The first is do exercise regulary in the morning, playing sports when
you are young and practising yoga or t'aichi when you reach middle age. If you
practised meditation every day, you can keep our mind stress-free. Second, you
shouldn't ever forget to have breakfast, it is provide energy for your body to get
ready for a new day. According to me one more way to stay healthy is consume
healthy food such as brown rice, fresh fruit and vegetables. You should also eat
more fish and less red meat, drink a lot of water. The last is always go to bed early
and sleep enough 8 hour and take a nap in afternoon about 1 hour. When you're
feeling unwell, try natural remedies first. Take medicine only when other methods
fail.
TOPIC 3: Talk about one of your important firsts

I will never forget the day that I take the final tests of student life, the college
entrance exams. After 12 years study hard, this exams will decide my future, which
school I will pass and what I am going to do in my future career. This is the most
important exam that every student must be go through. I was extremely nervous
and stressful, at that time I was always wonder" can I pass the school that i have
been dreamed about and how can I overcome if I fail the test". Finally the "
judgment day" had come. I still remember the feeling when the invigilator came to
my examination room, my heart seemed to be jump out of my rib-cage, but after all
I had done my test successfully and I fell very comfortable. After a long time for
waiting the results of the competition, I had recived the result of my tests. I had
enough mark to passed the school that I have dream, It is the Academy of
Journalism and Communication.
TOPIC4: Talk about your daily routines. What do you do ? At what time of
the future/ after you graduation from university
Every morning I always get up at 5.30 am.The first thing I do is brushing my teeth
and washing my face .Then I have a breakfast at about 6 a.m .After breakfast , I
often drink milk because it is good for health and makes me get taller.
About 6.30 My mom goes to work and I go to school .It takes me about 15 minutes
to walk to school .The lesson starts at 7.00am and I finish the lesson at 11am .After
school, I often come back home to have lunch with my family
In the afternoon I usually go out with my friend or somtimes read books.
In the evening I have dinner at 6.30 pm .Then I watch television with my
family .After about 8 pm I do homework and prepare lessons for the next day. I go
to bed at 10 pm to sleep well and have a good health.
TOPIC 5: Talk about your interests and the job you would like to do in the
future/ After you graduation from university.
I have always dreamt of becoming a journalist since I was a little girl and it’s
exactly the job that I want to do after I finish my education. I choose this job for
many reasons: It’s really a respectful job, if someone asks me what your job I
would be very proud and happy to said: I am a journalist. I’m work and
communicating with people from all walks of society, so I will improve the
knowledge .The second of reason why i choose this job is that I can update the
hottest news to everyone. It demands the patience, carefulness and passion .One of
the most important things makes me choose this job is that my mother is journalist
and she hope that i will follow in her footsteps. Today,i’m studying at the
Academy of Journalism and Communication this is a stepping stone for me to
complete my dream.
TOPIC 6: What do people often do on special occasions? What are some of
them in your country
Tet holiday is one of the most important special occasion in Viet Nam. It often
begins in late-January and ends in early-February.
Preparation often begins a week before the actual celebration. At that time,
everyone is busy in buying some necessary items such as clothes, food, shoes. In
spring flowers market, people go to visit and choose their most satisfied flower
pots. Peach blossom, kumquat, yellow daisy, apricot blossom, etc are flowers
which are used to decorating in the traditional festival.
People will clear their house in oder to create a fresh atmosphere to their house. On
Tet holiday, people have many recreational activities. Young persons take part in
the traditional games such as: tug of war, cooking rice, watching lion dance. Many
people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. Adults will give lucky money to
children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things for their family. It is a
occasion for every member in family, commemorate ancestors, together looking
back what they had done last year and prepare for the next year.
TOPIC 7: Best friends

I have lots of friends from my childhood but Lan is my best friend forever. My
best friends full name is Nguyen Thu Lan. She live in Ha Long city with her
parents. She behaves me well and helps always. I met her in class 6 and became
best friend. She has long black hair and beautiful eyes. She is tall anf thin. She
doesn't like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T- shirt. We both
enjoy going shopping, reading novel, play game, cooking. We often share joy and
sadness or everything in life to each other. She seat near me, cry with me, smile
with me... I love Lan so much. I feel lucky to have her as my best friend. Now, we
are stuyding in two different university but we often visit each other. I will keep
this friendship last forever.
TOPIC 8: Talk about the holiday you have been on, either an ideal or an
awful one you have experienced
Last summer holiday, Me and my best friends decided to go to Đà Nẵng. We
went there by plane. It was the first time I have traveled by plane.
When we got wonderful city, it was getting dark. We felt very excited because of
the nice weather and fresh air in there. We stayed in Hoa Hong hotel in center of
the city, a little but very comfortable.
The next day we went shopping in Hàn market and I bought some gifts for my
family. Then we had lunch in a nice restaurant near the garden of flowers. The
food was very delicious and cheap especially the vegetables, I loved the sea food in
there. In the afternoon, we went to the beach. How beautiful it was. We walked
along the beach and talked about everything. The following day, we went to Phan
Tứ food street, and we ate many food in there. The last day, we came to Ba Na Hill
where was very famous in Đà Nẵng city. We had many activities in there.This
wonderful holiday helped us to get rid of worries and trouble. It was an interesting
and unforgettable holiday.

appearance, personality, and more

Adele is one of my favourite singers. Adele was born on May 5th 1988 and is an
English singer and a musician. On March 3rd 2012,she became the first solo
female artist to have three songs in the top 10 of the Billboard.I began to listen to
her songs because I was recommended them by my friends

very famous

I admire Adele becausew her voice not only touches the audience's soul but she
aslo efforts for her career

If I met Adele, I would take some photos with her to post on my facebook wall and
talk to her.I hope I will have opportunity to meet her one day.
TOPIC 11: What can foreign visitors do during a holiday in Vietnam?
This Special Day is on September 2nd which is held to commemorate the day
President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to
Vietnam. The holiday is quite short, only about 1-2 days but if foreign visitors
have the opportunity to visit Ha Noi at this time, they will surely have
unforgettable memories.
Firstly, before the holiday, visitors can explore famous spots of Hanoi such as
Hoan Kiem Lake or Hanoi Old Quarter,etc. Especially, the streets in these days
will be quiet and peaceful.
After walking, visitors can enjoy delicious food such as Com Lang Vong, bun cha
or Pho Ha Noi, etc.
And of course, the most special part of the holiday is parade at Ba Dinh Square of
thousands Vietnamese people come across. And the foreign visitors will
understand the culture of Vietnam more.
At the end of the day, visitors from other countries in the world can enjoy exciting
activities like music festival or the crowded walking streets.
With these exciting activities, I’m sure that visitors will have valuable experiences
in Vietnam on the Independence Day.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY
Technology advances and becomes more and more important in our
lives. Technology certainly changed my life better. In case of an accident, I can
contact with somebody with my mobile immediately. My computer makes simple
to keep my lots of documents. The internet and e-mail made me easier to get
information and news, to contact with my friends who live around the
world. Technology has made our lives very fast, very convenient.To myself, the
technology has helped me studying very fluent. I can communicate with my friends
or my family, so I can to keep in touch with them. Whenever I feel sad, I would
listen to music or play games. The advanced technology has helped a lot in
people’s lives but people need to use them in a smart way so as not to depend on
them and have bad health condition.

well
Social networking has been a common use on the Internet in today’s generation.

more than a billion users and is still growing rapidly. Facebook is free—and not
only that, but it's also one of the best mediums for communication. You can send
messages, start a video call, and upload photos and videos without charge.
Facebook lets you connect to different people from anywhere in the world. People
everywhere these days are familiar with Facebook. Provides the opportunity to
easily communicate with your old friends and keep up-to-date one what they're
doing. It's an easy way to share feelings and what's happening in your daily life.
