start-up entrepreneurship, will present you with a food company, Artfulbites, that combines food
and art through modern food printing and engraving techniques.

and visually-oriented society, there is a growing interest in unique and personalized experiences.
This interest has been supported by the research conducted by Li, Qing, and Liao, which suggests
that customization not only enhances consumers' subjective value and expresses their identity,
but also generates a strong sense of engagement, accomplishment, and self-integration with the
product. Building on this trend, Sara points out that the current food culture has undergone a
significant shift towards the personal. Consumers now actively seek visually stunning and
Instagram-worthy dishes, leading to the increasing popularity of the convergence of food and art.

However, traditional food options often overlook the visual and aesthetic aspects of food, limiting
the ability to cater to individual preferences. Additionally, individuals with busy lifestyles tend to
pay less attention to their food, leading to the development of detrimental eating habits. This is
