This summer project is aimed at developing an understanding and implementing the concepts
that have been learned in the Iirst year oI MBA course. It was also to chance Ior one to gain an
insight into the corporate world and learn about the Iunctioning oI various arms oI the
organization.

A project oI this magnitude depends on contributions Irom a wide range oI people Ior its success.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the many people who have contributed in
diIIerent ways to this report. Many people have contributed a great deal oI their time and
expertise to the development oI this project.

Firstly, I would like to thank my guide Mr. SHAILESH PAADEY, MAAACER - EQUI1Y

Many students may have done work on this project in diIIerent ways/styles. I have also tried to
work on this project in a diIIerent way. It was Ior the Iirst time I got the opportunity to work in
such a prestigious and well known organization. And things which I have experienced in my
training time are going to help me through out my liIe time. I have worked on this project with
great enthusiasm and zeal. I have tried to cover almost all the things which I have experienced
and learned Irom the company`s management.

No doubt at present working atmosphere is Iine but it needs some alternations, keeping in mind
this view; I have also suggested some improvements/suggestions.

The main goal oI my project is to Iind out the Irequency with which the investors invest in share
market, uses oI upgraded technology and modiIications in investment methods, improvements
and appropriate suggestions to provide better service to investors. It would be my great pleasure,
iI this project can help this company to achieve its goal higher any way.

This report is a summary oI the work done as a summer trainee in Religare$ecuritiesimited.

I divided this project report into Iollowing phases as mentioned in the project proposal. The
report is about the comparative study oI online stockbrokers.

The project report begins with the detailed introduction oI the study in which basis oI
comparison has been discussed. Then detailed introduction oI share market has been given. Then
inIormation regarding Religare Securities Limited has been given. The basic schemes and
services oIIered by the RSL to its customers have been included in the project report.

The project report contains the inIormation about other online brokers (ICICI direct, Kotak
securities, Motilal Oswal, share khan, India InIo line) also like what is their brokerage rate,
inIormation regarding their branch network etc. From these company`s description it is clear
what these brokers provide and what is their brokerage. Then primary data has been collected as
Iilled up by the people. The main Iocus oI the questions is on the comparative analysis oI the
diIIerent online brokers. This comparison has been made on the basis oI the diIIerent things like
services, brokerage, product, and branch network, tie up with banks etc.

Then Irom my research a conclusion is drawn that:
O People have high concern about brokerage charges.
O The service, tips by brokers and the return investor get Irom this have high impact on
investors.
O The service oI relationship manager also inIluence people a lot.


I have also made some suggestion to the company to make them more eIIicient service provider
Ior their customer/ prospective customers.



1. Provide proper and complete knowledge to the investors and employees about the
new technology.
2. More attention towards the new and potential customers.
3. Provide complete knowledge to the investors about the market changes.
4. Making close contact with investors.
