Maslow’s Hierarchy
Maslow suggests that people are
motivated to fulfill their needs
based on the hierarchy's order.
Maslow explains how there are five
stages of human needs (see
picture)
According to Marlow, a worker must
achieve a level before being
motivated to a the next level.
Category # 2:

F.W. Taylor
Taylor’s theory speaks about salary. According to his theory, if a
worker is paid more, they will more likely be motivated to work
harder. Taylor took his sample from people employed at factories
and broke down their jobs into processes then calculated the
output. Taylor saw the employers as machines, if they work hard,
their productivity rate would be high.
Category # 1:

Herzberg
Herzberg categorized employee satisfaction
into two sectors: “hygiene” and
“motivators”. Hygiene factors are seen as
items that are needs while “Motivators”
are seen as things needed for
psychological growth. Herzberg explained
how hygiene factors must be satisfied or
else they’ll act as demotivators.
