1. Barricade work space with caution tape,
cones, or signs if necessary. Maintain communication when working with others.
2. Ensure proper clearance of equipment. Wear a hardhat.
3. Wear hearing protection (Ear Plug) if working around loud equipment.
4. Use proper lifting techniques and body mechanics. Two people lifting above 25 kgs if
possible. Use lifting equipment when possible.
1. De-energize equipment If area is wet, check for frail, corroded, and/or exposed
wires. Ensure proper isolation and cross check it. (Group LOTO is required when
working with others)
2. KEEP work environment clean and tidy to avoid clutter. Clutter may cause accidents.
1. An appropriate and valid PTW to be ensured. Appropriate PPEs should be worn by
the workers. Be cautious of hand injuries while using sharp tools and wear protecting
gloves. Unauthorized personal entry should be restricted.
2. Load should not exceed SWL of machine/ rigging gears. Only 3rd party tested tools
tackle should be used. There should only one signal man at the time, and he should be
 visible to the operator (Hydra or EOT). No worker should be allowed near/ beneath
when load is in suspended condition.

1. Inspect the area immediately around the load and the route for clearance and
tripping hazards. Clear movable objects from the route. If the load must be carried for
a long distance, find location(s) load can be placed to allow for a rest break. If possible,
keep load elevated to avoid lifting the object to resume moving it
