NOTICE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR EMPANELMENT OF ADVOCATES

Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), Gurugram, a statutory Authority, under the
provisions of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 2017, proposes to engage Panel Counsel (s) to
represent this Authority or its functionaries before various judicial Courts, Tribunals, Authorities, etc. functioning
within Gurugram District / Delhi NCR.

2. Practicing Advocates who are registered with Bar Council of India/State Bar Council with three years of
practice experience are eligible for empanelment. The empaneled advocate shall -
(i) maintain absolute secrecy about the cases of the GMDA as required under the Act. Rules and
Regulations thereunder.
(ii) not appear in a court against GMDA or give advice to any private party against the interests of
GMDA during the period of empanelment.
(iii) return all case files and records to the GMDA as and when required by GMDA.
(iv) agree with the Fee Schedule by GMDA in accordance with the rates /instructions issued by Government
of Haryana.
(v) Inform the progress/date of hearings of court cases to GMDA from time to time.

3. Eligible practicing Advocates may submit scanned copy of their application in prescribed Performa attached
at Annexure ‘A’ along with supporting documents and a photograph to GMDA through e-mail. Mail id:

4. The empanelment will be valid for a period of three years and shall be extendable from time to time as
this Authority may deem fit.
5. The Advocate(s) who are on the existing panel of this Authority shall cease to be on the panel of this
Authority after new panel is finalized against this notice. Therefore, they may also apply afresh in response to
this notice.

6. Incomplete applications or those received after the last date for submission of applications
