The pandemic passed by as the learners returned to school to have their
face–to–face classes. Students struggle with their new environment and experiences. Now, teachers teach them inside their classrooms and learners listen to them. As I observed them, most of the learners have difficulties in dealing with lessons because of the 2–year gap of education. As their teacher, I accommodate their different skills and needs by providing them with series and leveled activities and approaches of teaching as I am dealing with Grade 11 and 12 learners. Because of this, it allows learners to progress according to their abilities and build their foundation in learning. The Department of Education has adopted actions, policies, and guidelines aligned to the current situation we have. Different learning modalities are implemented to ensure the continuity and accessibility of quality education to the learners. On the other hand, teachers are provided with continuous seminars and training to enable them to upskill, reskill, and cope with the emerging global framework, because of this teachers are open to enhancing and developing their skills and abilities in dealing with learners. In the past, classrooms were often all about the teacher. Today, education focuses on learner-centered making a better and more effective learning environment for students. But sometimes knowing just how to change the focus from the teacher to the student is well-hard. So in my opinion, one way quick to get started experiment with the opposite of what you normally do. As a whole, this school year gives confidence, enthusiasm, and dedication to learners in their studies. Learners thrived and succeeded in their skills and abilities at their own pace. Teachers are eager to teach students with commitment and love in their field of work.
