I agree the yarn ones seem to slide a lot. I'm going to try the rubber stops. Also the idea
you gave about dipping your rod to help stop it from grabbing an eyelet it works great.

Have you tried Tshing that bobber by putting the line through the notch so it slides? I'm
curious how that works. I've only slip bobbered the traditional way with the line going
through the grommet in the bobber.
