የ‫וֹـ‬በ‫א ُס‬ንግ‫ ٍُם‬ድ‫ץ‬ጅُ የጸ‫נ‬-‫ב‬ስና WHEREAS, the United Nations Convention Against
ኮን،ን‫ֹּל‬ን እ.ኤ.አ. ֱٍ‫ םכ‬9 ‫שׂ‬ን 2‫ְך‬3 ዓ.‫ו‬ Corruption has been signed at Merida, Mexico, on
በ‫ה‬ክ‫ת‬ኮ /‫עה‬ዳ/ የ‫ـ‬ፈ‫ אנ‬በ‫ֲא‬ኑ፣ December 9/2003;

ይֱንኑ ኮን،ን‫ֹּל‬ን የኢُዮጵያ ፌዴ‫ֶף‬ዊ WHEREAS, The House of Peoples’ Representative of

ዲ‫ז‬ክ‫תף‬ያዊ ‫ע‬ፐብֵክ የሕዝብ ‫ـ‬ወካዮ٤ ‫ו‬ክ‫ץ‬ the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has
ቤُ ‫ר‬ኔ !6 ‫שׂ‬ን 09)(9 ዓ.‫וֹ ו‬ደ‫נ‬ገው ስብ‫וֹר‬ ratified the Convention in its meeting held on the 3rd
ያፀደ‫שׂ‬ው ስֲֳነ፣ day of July,2007;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55

በኢُዮጵያ ፌዴ‫ֶף‬ዊ ዴ‫ז‬ክ‫תף‬ያዊ ‫ע‬ፐብֵክ
(1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal
ሕገ ‫א‬ንግ‫ ُם‬አን‫שׂ‬ጽ %5 /1/ እና /02/ ‫ُנטא‬
Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby
የ‫ג‬ከ‫ֳـ‬ው ٍውጇָ፡፡ proclaimed as follows:
1. አጭ‫ץ ץ‬ዕስ 1. Short Title

ይֱ አዋጅ “የ‫וֹـ‬በ‫א ُס‬ንግ‫ ٍُם‬ድ‫ץ‬ጅُ This Proclamation may be cited as the “United

The United Nations Convention against Corruption
signed at Merida, Mexico, on December 9/2003 is
hereby ratified by the House of Peoples’
Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic
of Ethiopia.

‫ָם‬ጣን Commission

የፌዴ‫ ָף‬የ‫ם‬ነ-‫ו‬ግ‫ץוֹ‬ና የጸ‫נ‬-‫ב‬ስና ኮ‫ֹּלג‬ን The Federal Ethics and Anti Corruption
ይኸንን የ‫וֹـ‬በ‫א ُס‬ንግ‫ ٍُם‬ድ‫ץ‬ጅُ የጸ‫נ‬- Commission is hereby empowered to undertake all
‫ב‬ስና ኮን،ን‫ֹּל‬ን በ‫ֶ ףם‬ይ እንዲውָ acts necessary for the implementation of this
Convention.
የ‫ד‬ድ‫נ‬ግ ‫ֳם‬ጣን በዚֱ አዋጅ ‫רـ‬ጥָٍِ፡፡

4. አዋጁ የ‫ג‬ፀናበُ ጊዜ 4. Effective Date

This Proclamation shall enter into force up on
