MANUALLYOPERATED ECO-FRIENDLY ROAD AND FLOOR DUST CLEANING MACHINE

Cleaning is a necessary factor of daily routine process. Effective cleaning and sanitizing help and protect the health of human beings
directly and indirectly. The Road cleaner is used to keep our surroundings clean. So that we feel fresh while walking on thestreets.
Generally, in the era of modern technology, different devices such as electric motors, diesel engines, and robots are being used to clean the floor, road.
But such processes create abundant pollution, maintenance and are very tough to carry out. So, in order to save energy and save nature, there is a need
to develop, user-friendly road and floor cleaning machine.

A machine which should be operated manually so that it can be as an alternative for conventional electric cleaning machine. Thedust cleaning machine
system is fixed with a pair of wheels which are connected with the help of shaft. The shaft makes the wheels connected to one and other. The wheels
are moved to the desired position with the help of manual force, which can handle is provided to move. The handle can be adjusted for a required
height and are provided three adjusting holes for it. A chain drive is connected to the wheels and gear at each side. The chain is moved according to the
wheel and gear.

The brush moving the alternative direction of the wheels move and the brush brooms the waste present on the road also it dumps the waste into the
waste-collecting box. The waste collection box is removed to dump the waste into desired places.

• WHEEL:-Due to friction between the ground and the tire’s friction material when the
machine is being pushed ahead, the wheel is utilized to transmit rotational motion and
torque to the machine. The cycle’s tyre is decided upon.It disperses the weight on the chasis
into the soil, absorb vibrations, and also supplies the machine’s balance loads.

CHAIN:-
The chain drive is used to transmit the power from one shaft to another due to larger center
distances between shafts. The chain drive acts as simple gear train and open belt drive as it
transfers the rotation in the same direction as that of driven shaft. It is meshed with the
sprockets into the grooves between successive teeth.
• SPROCKETS:-The spockets of different diameter have been used to transmit the power
acting as a spur gear varying speeds and torque to transmit to further shafts with the help
of chain drives. The smaller sprockets was selected from the cycle shop.
• BEARINGS:-A machine’s bearings reduce friction between moving parts by limiting relative
motion that is intended. For instance, the bearing’s design might allow the moving part to
move freely in a linear direction or to freely rotate around a fixed axis.
• SHAFT:-This shaft has composite structure having different diameters. The outer section is
for providing space for the wheels and second diameters are for bearings. The larger
sprockets is mounted on it.
COLLECTING BOX:- The function of the collecting box is to collect the waste upto some
quantity after that remove box and dump the waste.
FRAME:- An assembly of rigid members (of which at least one is a
multi – force member) intended to be a stationary structure for supporting a load.
NUT:- Nut, in technology, fastening device consisting of a square or hexagonal block,
usually of metal, with a hole in the centre having internal, or female, threads that fit on the
male threads of an associated bolt or screw.
BOLT:- Bolts are screws with threaded cylinders and various types of heads. They are nearly
always paired with a nut which has a matching threaded hole. The friction of the thread and
compression work together to form the fastener.
BRUSH:-The brush consists of the brush tool, ring and brush support. The brush support supports the
brush in a groove holding it tightly. The brush support is welded to the ring fixing it. The ring is a circular
structure made using flat bar which has central bar having bore to fix to the shaft which rotates to
brush.
* WORKING AND ANALYSIS OF MANUALLY OPERATED ECO-FRIENDLY ROAD AND
FLOOR DUST CLEANING MACHINE :-

Our focus is to develop a machine which should be operated

manually. In this work we have done modeling and analysis of
the road cleaning machine. We used such type of materials for
manufacturing of road cleaning machine finally. We have
observed that all the components are with in safe limit in the
manually operated road cleaning machine.
