ENGLISH WEEK CELEBRATION- THE LINGUISTIC VOYAGE

Dear Parents

In the lieu of the birth anniversary of the father of English Literature, William Shakespeare, the school is
going to celebrate ENGLISH WEEK on the theme ‘The Linguistic Voyage’ from 23 April 2024 to 26
April 2024 for classes III to XII in which different activities will be conducted for the students during
their respective English Language periods only.

The following activities will be conducted day/date wise:

23 April 2024 - Shakespearean Tongue Twisters

24 April 2024- Character De Facto*

25 April 2024- Weave a Poem

26 April 2024- Book Review*

Kindly Note:
1. These activities are mandatory for all the students.
2. All the students must bring A4 size coloured sheets and sketch pens/ coloured pens/crayons along with
them.
3. Adhere to the instructions given by your respective English Language Teacher.
4. *For CHARACTER DE FACTO Activity - Students must be well versed with the chapters they have
covered so far in their English classes as they have to enact any one character from the same.
5. *For BOOK REVIEW Activity- Students are advised to start reading any book of their own choice
(a small one / not a lengthy one) during this week. Every student has to express his/her thoughts or
opinion about the book, which he/she has read during the week. (As our school is already celebrating
Book Week, so students can get their favourite book issued from the school library itself if they feel like.)
