In the dimly lit room, darkness casts an enigmatic shroud,
while a solitary beam of light pierces through, converging
upon a table adorned with twin chairs at its opposing
extremes. Within this space, a palpable tension lingers as
two commanding voices, laden with an air of authority,
saturate the atmosphere. The eyes of both Police Officers
smolder with suppressed fury, a testament to the intensity of
their recent confrontation with a youthful African lad during
the course of an interrogation. The weight of their
frustration and exasperation is tangible, borne out of their
inability to elicit any information from the primary suspect
in the agonizing murder of a fellow student within the
hallowed halls of the University.

SCENE 1

INT. INTERROGATION ROOM- AFTERNOON

HENRY, a resilient young African man, occupies a chair that
seems more like a battlefield, showing the marks of his
endurance. His visage is a paradox of youth and hardship – a
rugged handsomeness defined by short, dark hair and intense
black eyes. His chin bears the traces of a recent shave,
offering a glimmer of dignity amidst adversity. At 22 years
old, his body stands strong, unyielding to fear. A castle of
anger has taken root within him, even as he bows his head in
a moment of cough-ridden exhaustion.
Across the table, two figures exude authority, their faces
etched with varying degrees of emotion. OFFICER KHANA, a
slightly portly Indian man of around 24 years, possesses a
belly that belies his age. His gaze fixates upon HENRY,
reflecting a potent blend of sorrow, disillusionment, and
blazing fury. A sudden surge of emotion propels him forward,
and he delivers a forceful slap that reverberates through the
room.
DETECTIVE ANKIT, an Indian man of slender stature and tall
presence, is garbed in formal attire. Seated opposite HENRY,
his expression conveys a mixture of concern and restrained
anger. His brows furrow, an emblem of his frustration over
the silence that envelops HENRY. With a resolute motion, he
intervenes, stemming OFFICER KHANA's intent to continue the
physical onslaught upon the young man.
In this cinematic clash of wills, the room becomes a canvas
for the raw dynamics of power, humanity, and the search for
truth.

one of HENRY's close friends.

Henry is within the campus near the main gate, a grin
stretches across his face, reminiscent of a Cheshire cat.

The scene opens with a cinematic view of a school park in the
morning.
HENRY and PREETI are seen enjoying each other's company,
strolling toward their block from the main gate. Their
laughter resonates until their encounter is interrupted by
ARJUN. A boastful and malicious 6.4ft tall Indian boy with a
handsome yet wicked demeanor. He stops PREETI and HENRY.
ARJUN
Helloooo Kaise hum? I am sure we
are fine.
HENRY tries to hide behind PREETI.

causing him to collapse, conscious but disoriented.
PREETI taps HENRY on the shoulder, fear evident on her face,
shivering, and tears streaming down her cheeks.
The sight of PREETI immediately softens HENRY's expression.

slightly, a smile on her face.

INT. 20 BLOCK -AFTERNOON

PREETI exits the classroom on the sixth floor, then proceeds
to the fifth floor, calling HENRY, who isn't picking up. She
spots ARJUN on the fifth floor and rushes down the stairs.
PREETI can sense ARJUN following her. Finally, on the second
floor, she encounters HENRY at the entrance.
ARJUN hides, waiting for them to leave.
HENRY
(Curious)
Why were you rushing so much that
you didn’t even see me?
PREETI
(Slightly frightened)
Huh? Umm nothing. I..I..I was
coming to look for you..and..aaah
HENRY
Okay cool.To ham kahaan ja rahe
hain?
PREETI

HENRY
(smiling)

Silence fills the air.

lecture right and Manish was early
today. He then told the lecturer
that since he was late today, he
will have to mark everyone present.
Even the ones who weren’t in class

the lecturer comes late every day
and surprisingly he did so.

breaks the silence.

THREE DAYS AGO
PREETI sits alone on the stairs outside Block 19, her
expression reflecting gloominess. HENRY arrives at the stairs
and surprises PREETI from behind. As he notices her downcast
demeanor, he attempts to understand the cause of her
distress.
HENRY
(Gently)
"Hey! What's wrong? You know you
can confide in me, right? I'm here
for you."
PREETI
(Sorrowful)

(Sigh)
PREETI (CONT'D)
I just feel sad and…and..
HENRY
(softly)

HENRY holds PREETI by her shoulders and turns her body
towards him.
HENRY (CONT'D)

after HENRY finishes the story, and a new conversation
begins.

PREETI hands her phone to HENRY, her suspicion growing. HENRY
scrolls through her phone until he reaches the chat with
ASHISH on WhatsApp. His grin suddenly disappears.

(Suppressing anger)

As HENRY reaches the fifth floor, he hears someone scream and
then fall to the ground, holding a cap. Is it PREETI? HENRY
rushes out of the building and finds PREETI's lifeless body.
Overwhelmed with grief, he groans in agony.
