In the recent world, copyrighted music and books are more fundamental to be downloaded from

the internet and without any payment because of the evolution of technology. From my point of
view, this change brings both positive and negative effects on society.

Firstly, some people say that downloading copyrighted books and music without charging is
completely illegal. In fact, the authors or the composers expect they can get a huge amount of
money by selling their copyright. However, because of the rapid development of technology,
people can download them for free from the internet. This has led to the situation where the
financial losses for artists and authors. Moreover, widespread availability can create huge
damage for this kind of industry. People are not motivated to invest to generate new products and
they realize that this major cannot flourish themselves in the future. In addition, downloading
free authorized books and music comes risks and dangers. Many illegal organizations create such
links that can steal private information of the users or their PC can be attacked by the virus. They
are satisfied with themselves because of free downloading, but the users may not be aware of
how danger it is.

On the other hand, this phenomenon brings for people some positive aspects. In some cases,
these books and music can reach humble people who are struggling with poverty. By reading and
learning these materials, many talented people can be motivated and they can change their whole
life somehow. From the composer's view, although they lose their profits, this is a tradeoff for
them. In detail, by freeing their books and music, they can listen to many judgments which
contribute to developing themselves for better products.

In conclusion, although no one can deny that using copyright of authors without payment is
unacceptable, it can bring benefits for both audiences and composers.
