Famous Touristic Places:
The district of San Juan de Marcona, district of the
Province of Nasca, is located 8 hours by road from the city
of Lima, and one hour from the province, it has various
beaches that are visited throughout the year and are
welcomed with a fresh atmosphere and clean urban
landscapes, knowing the multiple stone figures that they
have throughout the circuit of our beaches, but more
frequently in the summer season, such as the interest in
their natural reserves.
NATURAL RESERVES
Punta San Juan Reserve:
The Lions
Location: Kilometer 483 of the Panamericana
Ica, Peru
DESCRIPTION:
Its northern side is wide and sandy, with an absence of stones and
rocks, while its southern side is stony until it enters the sea.

DESCRIPTION:
The rocks house fish, shellfish and other marine species. It is one of
the favorites among bathers due to its clean and crystalline waters.
Elephant
Location: located 4.2 km south of San Juan de Marcona
DESCRIPTION:
Elephant Trunk Beach gets its name from a rock formation; which
with the erosion of winds and water, was modeled by nature in the
shape of a stone elephant, giving the impression of being in a
position as if it were taking a peaceful bath in the sea, while sinking
its trunk in the beach.
Hermoza Beach
Location: Marcona District
Ica, Peru
DESCRIPTION:
It is a very wide beach, its shore is flat and almost straight. The ravine that is
located above it has the best houses in Marcona. In its western corner there is
a small beach that is preferred by tourists, this was formed by a rock that juts
out into the sea.
Stone Figures:
On these beaches where you can enjoy the panoramic view, you can
see the stone figures sculpted by nature and erosion of the sea and
the rocks on the cliffs of the beaches of this coastal peninsula, we
have:
