Supra Alloys The story

Camarillo, CA Bill Davis, Shop Foreman at Supra Alloys, Inc., a specialist in cutting
titanium for aerospace and medical industries, had been quite
happy with the performance of the coolant he was using but, there
were still problems. He felt that the competitor's product was
expensive, and it regularly ‘grew’ nasty bio-mass which clogged up
the systems, requiring a total sump dumps every 6 months.

At first, Bill balked at the price of #511 UltraKool SS®, as the

competitor's is $40 drum cheaper than #511 UltraKool SS® in this
market. BUT, they had to use 8-10% solution to get the performance
Shop Foreman, Bill Davis needed. After some experimentation, Bill was able to reduce the
ratio of #511 UltraKool SS® to a 5-6% solution, only increasing to 8%
when doing more difficult applications.

#511 UltraKool SS® has been running in the machines for 6 months,
with no unusual ‘growths’ in the systems.
