Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensures the availability, readiness, and proper use of required accident


prevention procedures, safety and fire prevention equipment, protective
clothing and devices, and first aid supplies.
• Maintains records of safety audits and inspections, as well as required follow
up actions.
• Maintains inventory of first aid, safety, and fire equipment. If properly
certified in first aid may function as first aid attendant, providing first aid care
to occupationally injured or ill personnel.
• Conduct new hire safety orientations, daily safety huddles and weekly
toolbox training.

• Organized the list of the new and existing manufacturing to facilitates and
reviewed their impact on the land use.
Check proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment
to ensure all relevant legislation by law are fully complaint
• Check and ensure that all agreed safety standards and applicable regulations
are observed, carry out and record on regular site safety inspections.
• Assist and participate in site safety training.
• Establishment of a risk mitigation plan to deal with the risk in the project
• Investigate all accidents and dangerous occurrences.
• Review and develop Permit to Work procedures.
• Set a high personal example of Health & Safety at all times.
• Monitor the application of all safety requirements in the project
• Coordinate with the construction team on all activities undertaken by the
Contractor with respect to safety requirements to develop standard to
measure performance.

• Conducts audits and inspection of work areas, machinery, equipment, and


working conditions for compliance with occupational safety and health
regulations.
• Reports incidents of noncompliance to codes and standards, and may
recommend corrective actions.
• Follows up to confirm implementation of corrective actions.
