BAT Poland IS LOOKING FOR ASenior Sourcing Manager

FUNCTION:Operations, Procurement
SALARY RANGE: competitive salary package + excellent benefits + market leading bonus

LOCATION: Warsaw, Poland

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for the Procurement Support to End Market category
‘Sourcing to Contract’, specifically:

Procurement support for the business agenda and playing a role of Procurement Business
Chat with our
Partner supporting the spend management.
Recruiting Assistant
 Strategic sourcing & tendering activities: Source to contract (sourcing plan, tender,
negotiation and contract terms and conditions)
Spend and compliance reporting
Commercial risk management
Supplier Relationship Management

Reports to: Area Procurement Business Manager

Geographic Scope: Global

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

To proactively capture demand and assist business in delivering the procurement solutions
via category strategy and sourcing activities supported at local and above market level
To support business in driving business agenda and playing role of procurement business
partner supporting smart spend management and supplier management
To proactively update key business customers on Procurement activities and gather business
feedback on delivered & planned actions
To drive and facilitate ‘source process’ for specific end market categories
To ensure contracts are completed for all relevant categories, following local contract
strategy, and they have been agreed with the relevant business owner. This includes the
resolution of any contracts’ related issues and one-off spend
To manage negotiation and supplier selection within the framework of any category
strategies or sourcing strategies
To apply the agreed global policies, standards, and platforms
Provide forecast on prices and market changes as an input in planning where appropriate
To own commercial supply base management and building strong internal & external
business relationships to ensure delivery of the category goals
To facilitate the creation of supplier SLA and performance check points. Manage and resolve
contractual performance issues and escalate where appropriate

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Detailed knowledge of supply market, supplier capabilities and competitor activity, and kcabdeeF eviG
expected trends at a local level
Proven capability of applying supplier management techniques to ensure contracted
benefits are delivered
Supplier and contract management experience
Detailed understanding of financial evaluation and interpretation of supplier’s records and
their key cost and business drivers
Understanding of the processes, timelines and constraints for the development and delivery
of new products
Proven experience in strategic sourcing process
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant area
Proficient in English Language
Strong digital analytical and numerical ability
In-depth category knowledge and proven capability of applyingChat withmanagement

BENEFICIAL

IWS / Lean Manufacturing experience would be an advantage

CIPS Corporate Diploma in Purchasing and/or membership of The Chartered Institute for
Purchasing and Supply or equivalent country qualification or membership would be
an advantage
