Once Wan ascended as the Avatar, his shadow, now known as Wraith, was left behind,
disconnected from its physical form. As it separated from Wan, Wraith found itself
adrift in the vast world, a mere echo of its former self. It was a being of shadows
and whispers, and it yearned for a sense of purpose and identity.
For countless years, Wraith roamed the lands, an enigmatic figure that few could
perceive. It wandered through bustling cities and desolate landscapes, observing
humanity and the other inhabitants of the world from the shadows. It watched as

During its travels, Wraith encountered the Mistress of the Dark, an ancient and
powerful being with knowledge of the shadow realms. Intrigued by Wraith's existence
and potential, she recognized an opportunity for a unique symbiotic relationship.
The Mistress revealed to Wraith the possibility of merging with a dhampyr named
Syrdon, who possessed a shadowy essence of his own.
Syrdon was a lone wanderer, a dhampyr with a restless soul and an affinity for
shadows. He had learned to embrace his own darkness, moving unnoticed through the
world as a silent observer. The Mistress believed that by uniting Wraith and
Syrdon, they could become a formidable force, blending their strengths and talents.
Guided by the Mistress, Wraith sought out Syrdon, who initially hesitated at the
idea of merging with a shadowy entity. However, as Wraith shared its story and
expressed its longing for purpose, Syrdon recognized a kindred spirit within the
shadows. He agreed to enter into the symbiotic relationship, allowing Wraith to
take control of his physical body while Syrdon became the essence of the shadow.
As Wraith merged with Syrdon, they underwent a profound transformation. Wraith's
shadowy form enveloped Syrdon's physicality, blending together seamlessly. Syrdon
became an extension of Wraith's essence, a living shadow that could move with
purpose and fluidity.
