Background Blood donor mobilization is a core activity of Kibaale
branch. Kibaale branch covers the districts of Kagadi,
kibaale and kakumiro districts and blood donor
mobilization is conducted in the local communities to
ensure that there are adequate supplies of blood to serve
the hospitals of Kagadi Hospital, Kibaale, Kakumiro,
Kakindo, St. Ambrose Health Centre Doctors clinic
muhooro and St. Andrea Kaahwa- Kooki Health Centre.
Objectives Conduct community blood donor mobilization campaigns

Target: Perdiem and day allowance for BM and day allowance

Justification: As our routine activity to conduct blood donor

mobilization,sensitization,recruit and retain blood donors,
as the branch

Implementing responsibility URCS Kibaale Branch manager will make ensure that the
funds received are accounted for and a report shall be
made and shared for the activities implemented

Target: DJ Mentions/Radio announcements/stationary

Justification: As our routine activity to conduct blood donor mobilization,

sensitization, recruit and retain blood donors then branch
intends to use mass media through DJ mentions and radio
announcements to reach out people in the community to
come and donate blood.
Implementing URCS Kibaale Branch manager will ensure that the
responsibility tendering process of procuring a service provider is
secured to offer the service. Will report and account for the
funds released for this activity.

mobilization is conducted in the local communities to

Objectives Facilitate members with transport and IEC material to
mobilize blood donors
Target: 1 Motorcycle riding gears

Justification: The branch utilizes the motorcycle to mobilize blood

Implementing responsibility
donors using a motorcycle. These motorcycle protective
gears will protect the rider from injury and keep safe in
case of an untoward accident not violating traffic rules
URCS Kibaale Branch manager will ensure that the
tendering process of procuring a service provider is
secured to procure the protective gears. Will report and
account for the funds released for this activity.
