Professional Museum Experience

2021. Museum Associate - Charlotte Museum of History


Responsible for collection research for the installation of exhibits that included
accessioned items from the museum collection, archaeological objects obtained from the
Siloam School’s original location, and local signs preserved from around the city of
Charlotte. Further research was conducted to aid in the creation of interpretive materials
and large-scale Museum events.

2019-2020. Site Coordinator - Historical Association of Catawba County


Responsible for collection research for the installation of exhibits that included items
from the museum collection and donations from local organizations in Catawba County.
Archival research was conducted on local and regional histories for the creation of
interpretive material used in exhibits and museum related events. Genealogical research
was performed on people related to the Harper House/Hickory History Center to enhance
the site and its interpretation.

Responsible for archival and genealogical research on a family member of the Alexander
family that included both onsite research at the museum and research at local archives in
Charlotte, NC.

Responsible for collection research on the accessioned objects at the Harper
House/Hickory History Center. Assisted in the collection and digitization of the donated
items for the The Hmong Heritage Project.
