GLOBETROTTER TRAVEL COMPETITION

In this lesson we have three texts.

The first text talks about a holiday spent together by a boy, his
sister, mom and dad. They rented canoes and sailed on the lake,
and then the boy's father together with the boy's sister shot
into the canoe in which the boy's mother and the boy were.
They fell into the water and it was very cold. The boy's sister,
who was grumpy before, was now happy and cheerful.

Another text is about a perfect sunset experienced by a guy and

his girlfriend while they were in Barcelona. They decided to go
to Mount Tibidabo, but the bus driver got lost and they didn't
know where they were, but they still had a perfect view of the
sunset over Barcelona and didn't even care that they weren't on
Mount Tibidabo.

The third text tells the story of how a teenager went to South
Africa with his parents for his eighteenth birthday. They saw
various animals and were amazed by nature.
FUSSY EATERS

The text is about people, mostly children, who refuse to eat various
foods. They generally refuse to eat fruits, vegetables and various other
types of food because they don't like them for some reason. They are
very picky about food, but it often happens that these habits change
when children grow up. Children can also get into the habit of not eating
certain foods from their parents. Likewise, some people may be born
with genes that make them sensitive to different tastes.

TRISTRAM STUART

In his book, Tristram Stuart described the problem of food waste and
also described a charity in London that prepared 5,000 meals and
served them to those who could not afford food. In his book, he wanted
to draw attention to the problem of daily food waste, while people in
Africa and Asia often cannot afford the basic foodstuffs for life.
