WEEKLY NARRATIVE REPORT

NAME:

PERIOD COVERED: FEBRUARY 5-9, 2024 (WEEK 1)

TASKS AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK

During the initial five days of February, which marked the beginning of my On-the-Job
Training (OJT) at the Local Government Unit of __________, ____________, we underwent a
comprehensive orientation. This orientation encompassed a deep dive into the rich history of the
municipality, as well as guidelines on attire and daily conduct. Following the orientation, we
were swiftly assigned to our respective departments or offices. This efficient allocation set the
stage for a productive and immersive learning experience, enabling us to approach our roles with
confidence and focus.

During this reporting period, the team diligently handled various administrative tasks crucial
for the smooth operation of municipal services. Tasks ranged from financial management to
community outreach, ensuring efficient processes and effective communication. One of my
primary responsibilities involved sorting and distributing water billing statements to residents
and businesses across the municipality, ensuring timely delivery and accurate records.
Additionally, I helped maintain accurate billing records and ensured that residents and businesses
received their water bills on time.

I teamed up closely with the assistant treasurer to ensure important documents and checks
were signed promptly. By working together, we made the process smoother and more efficient.
This collaboration helped streamline our workflow, ensuring that tasks were completed in a
timely manner. We communicated effectively to prioritize tasks and expedite their processing,
ultimately contributing to the overall efficiency of our work.

LEARNING AND EXPERIENCES

As the week progressed, I enthusiastically took on the challenges and duties of my role. I
performed tasks such as sorting bills and distributing them. Additionally, I worked closely with
my experienced colleagues and supervisors to learn more and improve my skills. This helped me
understand how things are done at the municipality. By working together with them, I improved
at what I do and became more familiar with the way things work here. It wasn't just about
finishing tasks; it was about becoming a key part of the team's success through hard work and
cooperation.
