THE WATER CYCLE

Water cycle is a continuous process involving

evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and
water flow, crucial for distributing water on
Earth. It sustains life by providing fresh water
for various purposes and highlights the
importance of conserving this vital resource.

CONDENSATION
Condensation is when water
vapor in the air cools down
and turns back into liquid
water, like when droplets form
on a cold glass of water on a
hot day.

PRECIPITATION
Precipitation is when water in the
air turns into rain, snow, sleet, or
hail and falls to the ground,
helping plants, animals, and
keeping our water sources full.

EVAPORATION
Evaporation is when the sun heats up water
in rivers, lakes, or the ocean, turning it into
water vapor that rises into the air.

surface runoff
