Heaven Is My Homeland

We are strangers of this land, while we walk the pilgrim pathway

Climbing Jacob’s ladder, let us sing a song that will cheer us by
the way
When the shades of life are falling: when the stormy winds of life
are past

When all matter of living seems wrong

On Jordans’ stormy banks, I will stand and cast a wishful eye
Though hard my journey may appear, where my possessions lie I
will cast a wishful eye
My heart has no desire to stay on this land where doubts arise and
fears dismay

The world above I want to live in, in a little while I will reach my
home. For the night will end in the everlasting day
Onward to the prize before me, soon the beautiful land I shall
behold

I shall tread the streets of gold, the Lord has prepared me a place
This troubled world is not my final home
And so I will press on!
Until then my heart will go on singing, until then with joy I will
carry on
Until the day the Lord calls me home.

Heaven Is My Homeland
My motherland is at stake
Jesus had taught me; that my fathers’ land are many
mansions. Sin is destined sheol, good is destined Paradise

In a little while we are going home; baby face ever stable

There is a rest beyond, there is relief from every care

Grasping adolatory and rebbelion and loosing the higher

ground how foul so great I’ve committed.
In a crucible my anchor will hold and grisp to the solid
rock.

These transitory things shall give me a snare but the

better portion I will trace.
To see my unseen best friend Jesus Christ
To behold the glorious face of Jesus Christ my unseen
friend.

Along a trail that’s winding always upward. This troubled world

is not my final home.
Along tears my heart will swell “ All is well, all is well”

Antil the day God calls me home. With friends and families as
well being emerged in heaven ever rejoicing and shouting the
victory.
