SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL TRAINING DESIGN

I. Rationale

Lambingi Elementary School is 20 kilometers away from the town proper. It has 131
pupils. The pupils were Kapampangan, Ilonggo, T boli , Blaan and Muslims. There were
7 Permanent Teachers ,3 Municipal paid Teachers and School Head. The children in our
school love peace and they want to live in harmony. Inspite of the different ethnicities of the
pupils there’s peace in our school. It is a place where there is no trouble and noise. The children
are at peace and so the school is at peace.

According to Wikipedia, encyclopedia Peace Education is the process of acquiring

values, the knowledge and developing the attitudes, skills, and behaviors to live in harmony with
oneself, with others and with the natural environment. Peace begins with us. When there is
peace there is no noise but excitement.

II. Objective

At the end of the SLAC Session the Teachers are expected to:

a. aware of Executive Order No. 570 and Division Memo No. 469 s. 2008
b. have a basic knowledge on the principles , concepts and values on the Culture of Peace
c. integrate Peace in their lessons

d.. improve Peace Corner in their classroom

e. School Head and Teachers, enhances knowledge and skills in integrating peace principles,

concepts and values in various programs

III.Time Frame

This 2 hours SLAC Session will be conducted on July 20, 2018 , Friday, 2:00 PM at
Lambingi Elementary School, Lambingi, Banga, South Cotabato .
