MINUTES OF THE MEETING:

I. Call to Order:

The meeting was formally called to order by, Ms. ANNABELLE B. TAPALLA, MT-I
Grade Level Consultant.

III. Flow of the Meeting

The meeting started at exactly 9:00 in the morning. It was facilitated by Mrs.
Annabelle B. Tapalla, Grade Level Consultant. The session started with a prayer through
an AVP and was followed by the singing of the nationalistic Song conducted by Mrs. Lucita
M. Yacas, T-III.
a. Collegial Discussion Between Peers

 Mrs. Tapalla, the Grade Leader consultant, was the Learning Facilitator on the
topic given. She presented a videoclip showing how the collegial discussion is
being done. From that video you can see a MAPEH teacher engaged in a
professional discussion with a colleague to reflect on the outcomes of his lesson.
He referred to his planning template for teaching motor skills (from simple skill
application through to difficult elements for game play). He emphasized the
importance of partner and small group learning, connecting new learning to
previous learning and student evaluation. Both teachers drew on their expertise
in working with students of different ages to evaluate effective strategies for
achieving successful learning outcomes.

Mrs. Tapalla initiated a professional discussion with a colleague to reflect on the

content of the lesson and the teaching strategies they watched from the
videoclip. She asked the teachers why the thinks these teaching strategies are
effective and asks her colleague to reflect on the content and strategies they
used during their class.

This collegial discussion enables the teachers to share their practice as a means
of improving their own knowledge about teaching and learning in their learning
area.
b. OTHERS

 Ma’am Tapalla reminded the teachers to submit DLP religiously.

IV. AGREEMENT

 As agreed by the GLC and Teachers of Grade VI that we should have a

reflection based on the topics discussed.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 in the afternoon with a closing prayer.
