School FOR CHARACTER IMPERSONATION
GUIDELINES
of
1. Eligibility: Teacher
 The contest is Educatio
open to all students from the School of Teachers Education. Each
major including BSED
n (English) and BSED (Math) as well as BEED, needs to
provide 2 representatives, resulting in a total of 6 participants.
 Participants can impersonate any fictional or real-life character, as long as it is
appropriate and not offensive.
2. Performance Guidelines:
 Participants should prepare a 3 minutes performance that showcases their ability
to impersonate the chosen character.
 The performance should include the character’s distinctive mannerisms, speech
pattern, and personal traits.
 Participants are encourage to use props, costumes, or other elements to enhance
their impersonation.
 The performance should be original and not a direct copy or recreation of an
existing performance.
3. Judging Criteria
 Accuracy of the impersonation: How well the participant captures the essence
and nuances of the character. (30%)
 Creativity and Originality: The uniqueness and inventiveness of the performance.
(40%)
 Stage presence and audience engagement: The participant’s ability to captivate
the audience and bring the character to life. (15%)
 Overall impression: The overall impact and memorability of the performance.
(15%)
4. Rules and Regulations:
 Participants must be register for the contest by the specified deadline and
provide any necessary information.
 The performance must be appropriate to the theme and not contain any
offensive or inappropriate content.
 Participant’s are responsible for providing their own props, costumes, and other
necessary equipment for the performance.
 Time limits for the performance must be strictly adhered to.
 Participant must be present at the event to perform their impersonation.
5. Judging and Announcement of Winners:
 A panel of judges, consisting of experience performers, or industry professionals,
will evaluate the performances.
 The judges’ decisions will be final, and no appeal will be entertained.
6. Prizes and Awards:
 Prizes may be awarded for the top performances , such as first, second, and third
place.
