PROPOSED ELECTION GUIDELINES: MINISTRIES AND RELIGIOUS

ORGANIZATIONS

I. ORGANIZATION OFFICERS :
1. Coordinator
2. Vice-Coordinator
3. Secretary
4. Treasurer

II. QUALIFICATIONS
A. Bonafide members of the Organizations/Ministries
B. Residents of the Parish

III. ELECTION PROCEDURE

A. Current Coordinator presides the election;
B. The rest of the current officers shall serve as Secretariat.
C. To broaden the leadership potentials and participation from amongst the
members, the current Coordinators and Secretaries shall not be available for
nominations, they however, shall form part of the Council of Advisers/Elders;
D. There shall only be a one-time nomination with no limit to the number of
nominees;
E. Each nominee shall be given 2-3 minutes to introduce himself/herself, that should
include pertinent data as to his/her qualifications to hold office;
F. The candidate with the highest number of votes automatically becomes
Coordinator; the next 3 candidates garnering the next 3 highest votes shall fill-up
the next 3 positions, down the line.
G. Others:
1. Nominations in absentia shall be allowed; but voting shall not be;
2. Basic Parliamentary rules shall be observed;
 Rule of majority; respect for the minority;
 Quorum;
 Impartial Presiding officer
IV. Members of the Steering Committee shall sit as COMELEC
“Choose Leaders not because they are your friends or relatives;
Choose them for their leadership skills vital to a vigorous, dynamic and a
pro-people Organization…

PROPOSED ELECTION GUIDELINES: AREA & COMMUNITIES

I. ORGANIZATION OFFICERS :
1. Coordinator
2. Vice- Coordinator
3. Secretary
4. Treasurer
NOTE: 23 Areas and communities shall not reorganize, as new officers have just
been recently installed; however, five (5) areas shall undergo total
reorganization as follows:
1. Green Valley 2 3. Vizcarra 5. Green Valley 1
2. Bonaire 4. Sambapa
II. Coordinators shall not be available for nomination; but shall form part of the council
of Advisers/elders.
III. All other rules re: Ministries and Religious Organizations shall apply.
