Participate in the development and execution of commissioning plans for assigned data center projects. Review and analyze project documents, including design drawings, specifications, and submittals. Develop and implement comprehensive test procedures for mechanical systems, including chilled water systems, cooling towers, and air handling units. Perform and document testing activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Identify and troubleshoot any issues identified during testing and work with relevant parties to resolve them. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, design engineers, contractors, and clients. Attend project meetings and provide clear and concise status updates. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including commissioning reports, punch lists, and handover documents. Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, controls, and data center requirements. Be proficient in the use of commissioning software and testing equipment. Stay up-to-date with the latest codes, standards, and best practices in data center commissioning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical commissioning, preferably in data center projects. Proven experience in developing and executing commissioning plans. Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in data centers, including chilled water systems, cooling towers, and air handling units. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
