Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities:

 Planning and Execution of Commissioning:


 Participate in the development and execution of commissioning plans for assigned data
center projects.
 Review and analyze project documents, including design drawings, specifications, and
submittals.
 Develop and implement comprehensive test procedures for mechanical systems, including
chilled water systems, cooling towers, and air handling units.
 Perform and document testing activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and
project requirements.
 Identify and troubleshoot any issues identified during testing and work with relevant parties to
resolve them.
 Coordination and Communication:
 Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers,
design engineers, contractors, and clients.
 Attend project meetings and provide clear and concise status updates.
 Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including commissioning reports,
punch lists, and handover documents.
 Technical Expertise:
 Possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, controls, and data center
requirements.
 Be proficient in the use of commissioning software and testing equipment.
 Stay up-to-date with the latest codes, standards, and best practices in data center
commissioning.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.


 Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical commissioning, preferably in data center projects.
 Proven experience in developing and executing commissioning plans.
 Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in data centers, including chilled water systems,
cooling towers, and air handling units.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
