The Work Immersion Program is one of the course requirements for graduation. A SHS
student has to undergo work immersion in a business organization or establishment
with work requirements related to the specialization. Through work immersion, you are
exposed to and are familiarized with the work-related environment related to their field
of specialization. Specifically, you are able to: (a) appreciate the importance and
application of the principles and theories learned in school; (b) enhanced their technical
knowledge and skills; (c) enrich their skills in communications and human relations; and
(d) develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work.

With this, you will be prepared to meet the needs and challenges of employment or
higher education after your graduation.

INTRODUCTION

Before we immerse ourselves into the workplace, we will first understand the immersion
process, proper work ethics, workplace safety and confidentiality, effective conflict
resolution, and teamwork skills. It is also necessary to hone our skills in writing a
resume and filling of application forms.

As one of the workforce in the society of the future, you will also need to secure a
medical certificate and the following clearances: (a) Barangay; (b) Police; and (c)
Mayor.

Your teacher will also discuss on portfolio making and updating. At the end of the Work
Immersion, you will be presenting this portfolio. Rest assured that all documents must
be attached, answer reflections, and let your brain cells empower.

CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE
Suppose you work in a MDRRMO and signed a confidentiality agreement
regarding all their work, suddenly your best friend asked you how the work as one of the
staff at MDRRMO? How would you deal with the situation?

-If faced with a situation where my best friend asks about my work at the MDRRMO despite the
confidentiality agreement, I would kindly remind them of the agreement's restrictions on
disclosing work-related information. I would express regret that I am unable to share specific
details due to the confidentiality obligations I have committed to. While maintaining
professionalism, I would offer general insights into the overall goals and objectives of the
MDRRMO without breaching confidentiality. Redirecting the conversation to non-work-related
topics and emphasizing the importance of upholding the agreement would be my approach to
dealing with the situation. Seeking guidance from supervisors or HR if needed to navigate the
conversation while respecting the confidentiality agreement.

building and that would be our task for today to clean from the entire hours. After cleaning they

As I entered from the department, I think I need to improved my self confidence because Improving confidence

In CPR training, the employees of the MDRRMO provided clear and concise instructions, making

Today is our last day for being a work immersion student at Municipality of Damulog, We are greaful for this
opportunity to have this kind of work because of this I gained more knowledge from the people who teaches as
for their jobs. In the picture below, we didn't have pictures with our supervisor and staff in our designated area
because all of them busy for their seminar for saving life of people, but they said we will come back soon to

you need to revisit the things that have been done in the past few days. What are the
events that are memorable to you? What are the key learning that you have achieved?
And lastly, you need to evaluate if the experiences gave you more confidence to face
what lies ahead.

At this point, I need to revisit the things that have been done in the past few days, The memorable moments that I
have been encountered was to be able to know about basic life support which is the CPR whereas to saving life
people. A key of learning that I have achieved was the understanding skills and confidence skills. Yes during the
work immersion the experience gave me more confidence to face any lies ahead.
 WORK IMMERSION HIGHLIGHTS
During the ten-day work immersion, I had the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities that enriched
my learning experience. The first day involved cleaning tasks, where I learned the importance of maintaining a
clean and organized work environment. On the second day, I received comprehensive training that equipped me
with the necessary skills and knowledge for the job. A lecture on safety preparedness on the third day
heightened my awareness of potential hazards and the importance of being prepared. The fourth day involved
physically carrying heavy objects, which tested my strength and taught me the value of teamwork. On the fifth
day, I honed my writing skills by documenting important information and writing reports. Cleaning duties
continued on the sixth and seventh days, emphasizing the significance of cleanliness in maintaining a conducive
workplace. The eighth day was particularly exciting as I had the opportunity to assist the rescue team, gaining
invaluable insights into their work and contributing to their efforts. Cleaning tasks resumed on the ninth day,
reinforcing the importance of attention to detail. Finally, on the tenth day, I had the privilege of presenting
certificates to individuals who had completed their training, while also ensuring that the workspace remained
clean and organized. Overall, the work immersion provided me with a well-rounded experience, encompassing
various tasks and responsibilities that enhanced my skills and understanding of the workplace.
