2024 Fire Prevention Month

Fire Prevention Month is celebrated this March with the theme of “Sa Pag-iwas
sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa.” During this time, the value of unity and cooperation in
ensuring fire-safe and disaster - resilient communities is emphasized to help protect
homes and families. In line with the celebration, students are to design and create a
poster that raises awareness on fire safety and the causes, hazards, and dangers of fire.
Students are expected to utilize their knowledge and skills in Visual Arts. All outputs are
to be posted on the Facebook Page of CDM Emergency Response Team. The “Most
Outstanding Poster Award” and special category awards will be selected based on
theme adherence, message clarity and appeal, content accuracy, and originality.
Winning posters will be announced on the Radio of Colegio de Muntinlupa and
Facebook Page of CDM Emergency Response Team together with the certificates for
their outstanding contribution to the 2024 Fire Prevention Month.

Submission Guidelines:
● The theme of 2024 Fire Prevention Month is, “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka
Nag-iisa”
● Posters should be created on an oslo paper. They may use any art materials that
they prefer.
● Students must avoid including any content that may be offensive, discriminatory,
or inappropriate and respect cultural sensitivities and diversity in the design and
messaging of the poster.
● Posters must have a proper label, with the student’s name/s, section and subject.
● Students must submit both physical and digital copy of the output.
● The physical copy must be submitted to the class representative. The class
representative will compile the outputs in a brown envelope then submit to Asst.
Prof. Louie Giray.
● Digital copy of the output must be submitted to email -
adriennecyrene04@gmail.com
● The email must include the following: scanned photo of the poster, student’s
names, section, and subject.
● Posters must be made within the designated time frame. For physical outputs, it
must be submitted on or before 3PM of March 23, 2024 (Saturday) to the class
representative and the online submission is until 11:59PM of March 23, 2024
(Saturday).

1. What is the theme of the 2024 Fire Prevention Month?

2. Where do we submit the outputs?
All physical outputs are to be submitted to the class representative. The
class representative will compile the outputs in a brown envelope and then
submit to Asst. Prof. Louie Giray. They must also scan their output and
must be sent to email - adriennecyrene04@gmail.com
3. Is this an individual activity?
No. The activity should be done by partners. 3 members are allowed as
long as it is permitted by Asst. Prof. Giray.
4. What art materials can we use?
Students will use an olso paper for their output. For the coloring materials,
they may use any materials that they prefer to use.
5. Can we do digital arts?
No. Strictly use your knowledge and skills in creating visual arts.
6. Can we do abstract art or mixed media art?
Yes. Only digital art is not allowed.
7. When will the winners be announced?
It will be announced on the 29th of March through the FB Page of CDM ERT
and Radyo Colegio.
