Vaibhav Kaushik, inspired by the long queues at fuel stations and the impact on daily

earnings for drivers, co-founded Nawgati with Aalaap Nair and Aryan Sisodia during college.
Nawgati employs deep learning algorithms using existing infrastructure to categorize
vehicles, monitor repeat trips, and assess compliance at fuel stations. The startup offers two
services – Aaveg, a B2B platform providing real-time information on transit time, waiting
time, and service metrics, and Nawgati Fuelling App, a B2C platform for consumers to
discover fuel rates, availability, and wait times.
Nawgati's business model includes a monthly subscription fee for petrol stations or
companies to deploy the Aaveg service at their stations, starting at Rs 5,000 per station per
month.
Aaveg, the B2B platform, connects to existing infrastructure at fuel stations, providing real-
time tracking of vehicle movement and essential metrics. The dashboard enables fuel
providers to monitor assets, customer satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The Nawgati Fuelling App offers basic features for free, with plans for premium features.
E42.ai offers a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model that focuses on end-to-end automation
for diverse business processes. The platform leverages Natural Language Processing (NLP)
models to enhance enterprise operations and decision-making.
Developed by Light Information System, E42.ai creates multifunctional cognitive agents
capable of automating complex functions.
E42.ai's journey began with NLP-Bots, evolved from robotics to Cognitive Process
Automation (CPA). CPA enables the platform to create cognitive AI workers capable of
automating routine tasks, making decisions, and handling complex processes involving
unstructured data.
E42.ai operates on two primary revenue streams: AI co-worker licenses priced at $24,000
per year and platform licenses for $150,000 per year.
Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to SMEs and startups across various sectors.
Clients such as Accenture, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Nissan Motor Company, McDonald's, and
Tata Capital benefit from the platform's automation solutions, improving efficiency in areas
like HR operations and accounts payable.

The company has a monthly recurring revenue of Rs 1.08 crore ($135,000) and an Annual
Recurring Revenue of $1.63 million.
Middleware, a startup based in San Francisco and Ahmedabad, focuses on enhancing
cloud-native infrastructure through observability, monitoring, and automation.
Laduram Vishnoi, founder and CEO of Middleware, recognized the need for an affordable
observability solution, particularly for cloud-native monitoring in Kubernetes and
microservices environments. The startup, founded in 2022, quietly developed its scalable AI-
based cloud observability platform for a year with an initial investment of $500,000.
The platform believes that its AI-driven approach will reduce debugging efforts, allowing
developers to focus more on building applications. Middleware, though recently out of stealth
mode, already caters to clients globally with tailored paid plans and a usage-based, pay-as-
you-go model, including a 'Free Forever Developer Account.'
As IT systems evolve in complexity, Middleware aims to keep pace with the changing
demands, especially in the cloud-native era where 95% of systems are expected to be
cloud-native by 2025.
