I. Câu bị động – Passive sentences

Là câu có chủ ngữ (S) là người/vật bị tác động bởi hành động (S + be + V3/Ved)
VD: I eat rice everyday
→ Rice is eaten by me everyday
 Cấu trúc của câu bị động:
Subject (S) + be (is/am/are/be) + V3/Ved (+ by ...)
 Cách chuyển từ câu chủ động sang câu bị động:
Muốn chuyển từ câu chủ động sang câu bị động, ta thực 2 bước chính sau:
1. Lấy tân ngữ (Object) của câu chủ động làm chủ ngữ (S) của câu bị động
2. Đổi động từ chính sang dạng V3 (nếu là động từ bất quy tắc) hoặc Ved (nếu là động từ
thường
S + V + O
S V3/Ved by us/them/me/her/him/tên riêng của người/tên gọi của vật
 Chuyển đổi sang câu bị động theo các dạng của câu:
Câu chủ động Câu bị động
Thì hiện tại đơn (present simple):
S + V1 S + am/is/are + V3/Ved
People use the Internet all over the world The Internet is used all over the world
Thì tương lai đơn (future simple):
S + will/won’t + V0 – động từ nguyên mẫu S + will be + V3/Ved
My sister will hold a party next Sunday A party will be held by my sister next Sunday
Câu chứa động từ khiếm khuyết (Modal verb):
S + can/must/may/might/have to/should… + V0
You can buy stamps at any post office Stamps can be bought at any post office
Câu nghi vấn thì hiện tại đơn:
Do/Does + S + V0 – động từ nguyên mẫu ? Is/am/are + S + V3/Ved ?
Do you finish your homework every evening? Is your homework finished every evening?

 Vị trí của trạng từ trong câu bị động:

  Trạng từ chỉ thời gian đứng sau by + agent
Ex: Penicillin was discovered by Alexander Fleming in 1928
(Penicillin được Alexander Fleming phát hiện vào năm 1928)
 Trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn đứng trước by + agent
Ex: Much tobacco is grown in Eastern Europe by farmers
(Phần lớn thuốc lá được người dân trồng ở Đông Âu)
 Trạng từ chỉ cách thức thường đứng giữa be và V3/Ved
Ex: We will never be told the truth (chúng ta sẽ không bao giờ nói sự thật)

 Glass is collected and sent to the factory

Do/Would you mind + V-ing ? (Bạn có phiền … giúp tôi …?)
Do you mind if + S + V2/Ved ? (Bạn có phiền nếu ai đó làm gì?)

III. In order to - so as to (để mà)
Câu khẳng định Câu phủ định

Firstly, harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases are released from rubbish in landfill site.
