DIRECT TESTIMONY FOR BIENVENIDO BALIWAG

1. Entry of Appearance:

SGR: Atty. Rea Irish Michelle R. Pintor respectfully appearing as counsel for the Applicant, FGLand
Corporation. With me is Atty. Diannee Romano

Your Honor, off the record, I would like to inform this Honorable Court that a new law regarding the
improvement of the confirmation process for imperfect land titles, RA 11573, has already been passed and
approved last July 16, 2021. While no IRR has yet been issued by the DENR, this may be beneficial to pending
land registration cases before this Honorable Court.

Your Honor, I would like to manifest that we have previously filed through registered mail last September 10,
2021 a 2nd Motion for Reconsideration of the Resolution dated August 27, 2021 denying our 1 st Motion for
Reconsideration. Considering this pending incident, I would like to humbly request this Honorable Court if
we could reopen the case and present or if needed, recall a witness in order to testify and identify the Special
Powers of Attorney.

2. Call Witness:

L: Your honor may we call on our witness, Mr. Bienvenido R. Baliwag. May we manifest that Mr. Baliwag is
being assisted by his daughter Felicidad Macatangay.

L: Your Honor, may I proceed with the Direct Examination in the vernacular?

L: Mr. Witness, bago po ang hearing na ito, natatandaan niyo po bang nagsagawa kayo ng kahit na anong
dokumento ukol sa kaso ngayon. Witness, prior to the hearing today, do you remember having executed any
document relative to the present case?

L: Kung ipapakita po ito sainyo, makikilala niyo po ba ito?

If shown to you this document, would you be able to recognize it?

L: Mr. Witness, ipinapakita ko po sainyo ang dokumentong may titutolng “Judicial Affidavit of Mr.
Bienvenido R. Baliwag” na may petsang 20 May 2021 at binubuo ng sampung pahina. Nakikilala niyo po ba
itong dokumentong ito?

 Mr. Witness, I am showing to you this document entitled “Judicial Affidavit of Jose Briñas” dated 12 October
2018 consisting of ten (10) pages. Do you recognize this document?

W: Yes, that is my affidavit.

B. Identification of the Witness’s Signature:

L: Mr. Witness, sa page 8 ng judicial affidavit na ito, merong lagda sa ibabaw ng pangalang “Bienvenido R.
Baliwag.” Kaninong lagda po ito?

on page 8 of this judicial affidavit, there appears a signature on top of the name “Jose D. Briñas, Jr.”. Whose
signature is this?

W: That is mine.

L: Sa inyong judicial affidavit, may tinukoy po kayong mga dokumento. Kung ipapakita po ang mga ito
sainyo, makikilala niyo po ba ang mga dokumentong ito?

In your judicial affidavit, you identified and mentioned several documents. If shown to you this documents, will
you be able to identify the same?

Your Honor, the witness identified and attached several documents in his judicial affidavit. May we propose
to stipulate to the Honorable Fiscal that the witness can identify the documents attached in his judicial
affidavit.

L: On that note, your Honor, may we proceed with marking of documents. / On that note, Your Honor, may
request to adopt the markings of exhibits set forth in the Judicial Affidavit of Mr. Bienvenido R. Baliwag
dated 20 May 2021?
