Development of the S500 range: S550 is joined by the new S510 and S530 remote terminal units.
- S550: upgradeable remote terminal unit that can manage up to 7 input-output boards and 7
communication boards. It comprises an interactive graphical display, an infrared port and a
485-I/O port dedicated to managing the "S550 I/O" and "S50 I/O" expansion modules.
- S530: compact remote terminal unit with 4 slots, able to manage up to 2 communication
boards and 4 input-output boards. It possesses an interactive graphical display, but
has neither infrared port, nor 485-I/O port.
- S510: simple remote terminal unit with 4 slots, able to manage up to 2 communication
boards and 4 input-output boards. It has no graphical display, infrared
port or 485-I/O port.
Development of input-output expansion modules for S550: 16DI, 6DO, 8AI-20 and 6AI-T°.
Elimination of the SOFTOOLS vocal dictionary: voice messages are integrated into the S500 configuration,
Secure communications:
- During PSTN/GSM communications, correspondents' numbers are entered into the communication event log
and S500 can block incoming calls from callers with hidden numbers,
- During PSTN/GSM and Ethernet communications, an authentication password for the different correspondents
(SCADA central station or other S500 Remote terminal unit) can be assigned; this password must be configured at
the level of the S500 and of all master and slave devices communicating with the remote terminal unit,
- Management of a PSTN/GSM recipient fault if the modem is absent, out of order, missing its SIM card, or without a
PIN code,
MODBUS access to setpoint locking,
Simplification of MODBUS access to time periods,
Entry into the operational log of status changes to archived logical inputs-outputs,
Increase maximum surface area of a Lift Station's tank: 200 m².
