May-05 AO board

! Position: no. 1 to 7

! Properties
" 4 ANA outputs
ANA outputs do not possess any points in common, but their potentials are referenced
with respect to the Chassis ground and Earth.
Only those devices with an input free of any reference with respect to the Chassis
ground and Earth and, in all cases, several devices with no points in common, are
directly compatible with our equipment.
In all other cases, you will need a voltaic insulation device in the "Remote terminal unit -
Device" link.
# If the "Remote terminal unit - Device" connecting cable passes outside the building,
or is of great length, a serial surge protector should be fitted to each end of the
cable.

! Connection
ANA output
cable 1 pair for ANA Jumpers on
output no. 1 AO board

(factory position)
Customization of the
ANA output to a 0-20 mA
or 4-20 mA current
output.

Customization of the
ANA output to a 0-10 V
voltage output.

" As a current output, the loop impedance must be between 0 and 500 Ω.
" As a voltage output, the charge impedance must be greater than 500 Ω.

! Diagnostics
" The graphical display allows users to view or modify the values of the ANA outputs.

1 3AC 2.29 V
2 563 6.73 mA
3 09E 0.77 mA
4 CFD 8.12 V
