Report on Community Service

INTRODUCTION
According to the requirement of this course, the report is
based on a survey I conducted in a span of a week. The
survey was conducted among various people with different
mentalities and point of views regarding the importance and
the functioning of a NGO and my report aims at
understanding and aggregating the results.

METHODOLOGY
Various questions were formed regarding the effectiveness of
a NGO and were presented to a diverse audience
“digitally”(mostly by the use of calls and text messages) to
know their useful opinions. Questions like:
  Is the hard work done by the workers in a NGO useful or
it all goes in vain?
 Is the quality and quantity of the amenities provided
(eg.clothes,food,ration) adequate?
 Can the minimal donations that a NGO gets ensure
proper functioning of it?
 Is contributing service to a NGO help a student in any
way?
 Are the people in need of help satisfied at all by the
services provided by the NGO?
 Etc….

Results And Conclusion

The results came out to be kind of shocking as most of the
people did not think best about the NGOs. People think that
NGOs can also lead to corruption and are unable to fulfill the
expectations of the trusties. And due to this the needs of the
people cannot be fulfilled. On the other hand, some people
also think that NGOs play a crucial role in fulfilling the needs
of the deserving people and not all NGOs function selfishly.
Also many think that students are benefited greatly when
they provide their service to the NGO. They gain a lot of
experience and they can gain the ability to think out of the
box and learn the hardships that people might face.
