A resume- is a document used to present a person’s background and skills.


A standard resume should be well- written and based on the following guidelines:
1. Contact Information
2. Goals/objectives
3. Qualifications
4. Educational Background
5. Work experiences/Special Skills
6. References
7. Other guidelines
a. Be consistent with your formatting
b. Do not use fancy fonts. Be consistent with your font size
c. Observe correct alignment, margin and spacing
d. Highlight important /key information like name, school and degree by using bold font or italics
e. Avoid wordiness,redundancy and faulty parallelism
f. In writing information, avoid writing in complete sentences with pronoun

Writing an Application Letter
Application letter- also known as COVER LETTER- is a document that provides additional information about a job
applicant.
An application letter is sent to the employer together with the resume as an attachment. The main purpose of the
applicant as he/she writes the cover letter is to provide a more detailed information about the his/her preferred job
position,qualifications, reasons for choosing the company and relevant skills and work experiences in order to secure an
interview with the employer.

Writing office Correspondence ( Business Letters)


Written communication is vital part of office work. Office correspondence normally takes plae between employees and
employers.

Office correspondence is commonly known as business letter.


THREE TYPES OF FORMAT
1. Full block format
2. Modified Block format
3. Indented Format
Commonly used office correspondence are the following:
a. Recommendation
b. Acknowledgement
c. Inquiry
d. Request
e. Complaint
f. Apology
g. And resignation

CHECKING FOR UNDERSTANDING

oral report, present your groups collection in class by identifying the structure, content and purpose of each document.

Writing an impressive resume and application letter will help an aspiring applicant to get accepted for his preferred
job. To write an effective resume and application letter,one should follow the basic guidelines for writing these
important document.

What are the consequences of failure to fulfil one’s responsibility?

As a student in this institution, I did follow the rules and regulations of the school, because it protect me, from all
the danger that life I may encounter in the future like it’s a stepping stone that can lead me to a brighter future with
the sense of obedience. There are always consequences in every actions that we make in terms of failure to fulfil
one’s responsibility is like you're sacrificing even if you known it’s a small change of fulfillment but you try and it
creates an experience in life that we can apply in the future if ever. Our plan will not always go as we expected that
always remember that God always have a greater plan. So failure doesn't no mean your need to stop, but it a sign
that you have a progress to fulfillment in life.

reflection and consideration, I have made the decision to transition into a new field and pursue a career in nursing.

This decision has not been made lightly, and I have spent considerable time evaluating my interests, strengths, and
long-term goals. While I have thoroughly enjoyed my tenure at Dep. Ed over the past ten years and am grateful for
the opportunities and experiences I have gained, I believe that transitioning into nursing aligns more closely with my
passion for healthcare and my desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

I wanted to provide you with ample notice of my intention to transition into this new career path. My last day in my
current role will be April 08, 2024, providing a one-month notice period to ensure a smooth transition and minimal
disruption to the team and department.
