Subject: Request for Information under the Right to Information Act, 2005

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you to seek information under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005. I
RAMESH KUMAR is an employee retiered from the Indian Army and have concerns regarding the
deduction made in my salary, particularly concerning the House Rent Allowance (HRA) component.

Deatils About the issue.

My Name is Ramesh Kumar and my employee ID is JC -561206W. I am retiered from The Bihar Regiment
(Center). My HRA was wrongly deducted by the departement saying that I was accomodated the QTR
No. BK /07, Kali Mata Mandir Line. But in letter no. Q/3129/MES/01 the department has accepted that I
was not living there during the period 1st Oct 2019 to March 2021. So the department has deducted an
amount Rs. 108000 + Rs. 18270 = Rs. 126270/- from my pension.

Details of Information Requested:

1. Why not any action taken on letter no. Q/3129/MES/01 dated 29 February 2024 sent by QM of 6 th
Bihar Mr. Ramendra Rai which was also coppied to POA(OR) The Bihar Regiment, The Bihar Regiment
Records and AABSO Baklaoh Cantt?

2. I seek clarification on any specific reasons or factors that led to the deduction in my HRA for the
specified duration.

3. How long will it take to resolve the issue.

I would appreciate it if the requested information could be provided to me within the stipulated
timeframe as prescribed under the RTI Act, 2005. As per the provisions of the Act, I am willing to pay any
requisite fees for obtaining the requested information, if applicable.

In case any part of the information requested is exempted from disclosure under the provisions of the
RTI Act, please provide justification for the same as per the relevant section of the Act.

Please acknowledge the receipt of this application and inform me of any further procedures or
documentation required to process my request.
