Co-operative Education
Congratulations on your acceptance to the Co-operative Education (Co-op) program. To be eligible for the
Co-op, you must complete the program's academic requirements including achieving a minimum grade
point average (GPA) and passing a mandatory co-op preparation course. For more information, please

Reserve Your Seat

• Accept your offer to the university via the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) website by the
deadline listed above.
• Submit your $500 non-refundable deposit online at welcome.ontariotechu.ca by the deadline date, so
you’ll be eligible to register for your courses when they’re released.
• Accept your offer and pay your deposit even if your offer of admission is conditional. This will hold your
seat at the university and also allow you to register for courses.
Conditional Offers of Admission

• If your offer is conditional, maintain the minimum final admission average stated above, plus check your
Applicant Portal for any outstanding admission requirements and ensure to complete all program
prerequisites.
• Successfully complete all courses currently in progress, including program prerequisites.

General Admission Considerations For All Applicants

• Provide proof of English language proficiency. Learn more at ontariotechu.ca/elp.


• Submit all required final documentation as listed in your Applicant Portal. The deadline to submit all
necessary admission documentation is August 9, 2024.
• It is your responsibility to have the required official documentation submitted directly to the university
from the issuing institution if you are completing upgrading courses or summer school.
