ABOUT BESC
The Bhawanipur Education Society College,
founded in 1966, through The Bhawanipur
Gujarati Education Society, is affiliated to The
University of Calcutta with its motto being
'Education for Excellence'.

The college has strived to provide premium


education to a truly diverse student body
irrespective of their linguistic, religious and
regional backgrounds.

We present an experience of 58 years of creating


distinguished personalities who are an influence
to the society and hope to continue our
relentless contribution in near future with the

Since its commencement, the four-year BBA
Honours programme in management has evolved.
The one-of-a-kind curriculum emphasizes on
intellectual depth, leadership ability, and social
responsibility as fundamental concepts.
The purpose of BESC's approach to management
education is to provide complete training to
future leaders with unequalled professional skills
and a strong ethical viewpoint. Owing to a flexible
and comprehensive curriculum, students can

The students of the Department of Business Administration of


BESC eagerly anticipate the annual festival known as BONFIRE’24.
Spanning three days, this inter-college Management fest ignites the
competitive spirit within each participant, challenging their
business acumen and pushing the boundaries of their expertise.

It is a crucible where students' skills are forged and tested against


the backdrop of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and
Analytics. Through a series of meticulously crafted scenarios and
simulations, participants are immersed in real-world challenges,
offering them a taste of the dynamic corporate landscape.

What sets BONFIRE’24 apart is its student-led conceptualization


and execution. Every aspect, from ideation to implementation, is
orchestrated by the talented minds at BESC's management
department. This approach fosters a sense of ownership, and
responsibility among the organizers, creating an experience that
seamlessly blends learning with fun.

rallying cry ignites the entrepreneurial spirit within each
participant, urging them to carve their path and leave an
indelible mark on the world.
At BONFIRE’24, students are visionary pioneers, navigating the
world of entrepreneurship. They are encouraged to unleash
their creativity, seize opportunities, and take bold risks.
As the fest unfolds, a symphony of ambition and determination
will reverberate through the air, as aspiring entrepreneurs pitch
their startups, compete for funds, and showcase their
prototypes to a panel of esteemed judges. Each presentation is a
culmination of hard work and unwavering belief in the power of
innovation to transform the world.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST CARRY A VALID COLLEGE ID CARD
WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES.
THE LIST OF PARTICIPANTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN .doc
FORMAT BY APRIL 14, 2024.
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE TO REPORT TO THE VENUE FOR
REGISTRATION BY 9 AM SHARP ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
SUBSTITUTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. ONLY THE
REGISTERED TEAMS WILL BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE ON THE
DAY OF THE EVENT.
CROSS-COLLEGE OR OPEN TEAMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
OBSCENITY AND VULGARITY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE
DISQUALIFICATION.
THE ADMINISTRATION WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY
PERSONAL BELONGINGS THAT ARE LOST, STOLEN OR
DAMAGED.
AT THE COLLEGE, NO WEAPONS OR INDECENT ACTIVITIES
(SUCH AS CHEWING TOBACCO OR SMOKING) WILL BE
TOLERATED.
ORGANISERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE RULES
AND REGULATIONS ( IF REQUIRED).
THE WINNERS OF EVERY EVENT WILL BE DISCLOSED DURING
THE CLOSING CEREMONY.

BOARD MEETINGS PLAY A CRUCIAL ROLE IN BOTH BUILDING
AND SUSTAINING THE SUCCESS OF ANY COMPANY. THESE
MEETINGS ARE OPPORTUNITIES TO ANALYSE THE FIRM’S
SITUATION AND DEVISE SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS ANY
CHALLENGES OR ISSUES ENCOUNTERED.
IN THIS EVENT, WE EMULATE A SIMILAR CONCEPT WHERE THE
FIRM’S CHALLENGES AND CHOICES ARE TO BE DISCUSSED WITH
THE HELP OF NECESSARY DEPARTMENTS.
