Data Analysis
This data analysis aims to explore the relationship between parental
involvement and the academic performance of grade 11 students. The data used for this analysis was collected from a sample of grade 11 students from various high schools. The variables measured include the level of parental involvement (high, medium, low) and the students' academic performance (GPA scores).
To interpret the data gathered from the study, the researchers used weighted mean, frequency count, average weighted mean, and rank.
The researchers used frequency count and percentage to determine the
demographic profile of the respondents in terms of Age, Sex, and GPA of Grade 11 students.
To determine the level of parental involvement, the researchers used
weighted mean, frequency count, average weighted mean, and rank. The level of parental involvement was measured in terms of time spent and in terms of their moral providence, involvement in tasks, and providing new knowledge.
