ACTIVITIES:
Pre Lesson:
1. Pupils refer to their timetable for the day and share on what subject they are looking forward to for the day and
the reason.
While Lesson:
1. Pupils copy the table from Activity 3, textbook page 15. Sentence patterns that are going to be used are
explained.
Student A: What’s your favourite subject?
Student B: Science
2. Pupils are introduced to ways of displaying in graphs. Teacher shows an example.
3. Pupils go around the class practicing the sentence patterns while filling in the table in the exercise books.
4. Pupils sit together with their group members and come out with a graph related to their findings.
Post-lesson:
1. Pupils display their graphs on the wall.

Pre Lesson:
1. Ask pupils what subjects they are good at and what subjects they are bad at.
While Lesson:
1. Pupils are given a set of puzzles. Pupils match the pictures of the subjects to the words.
2. Pupils listen to a song (CD 1 Track 19) and are asked to guess what the song is about.
3. Each pupil in the group takes the piece of puzzle with subject pictures on it. Teacher plays the song and pupils
raise the pictures according to the lyrics.
4. Pupils who raise pictures wrongly will be asked to do a dare challenge (*prepared by teacher).
Post-lesson:
1. Pupils sing the song and share why they like and don’t like certain subjects in a think-pair-share session with
their group members.

While Lesson:
1. Pupils create a biodata based on Activity 2 in page 11 in their exercise books. Pupils transfer information from
the email to the biodata.
2. Pupils given a new email to read and task to fill the information needed. Pupils transfer information from email
to the blanks given in activity 1 page 23 of their funbook.
3. Pupils write an guided email about themselves in their funbook activity page 24. Pupils are guided to write
sentences (L).
Post-lesson:
1. Pupils exchange books with their friends from other groups to read their email write-up.
