TO CHECK THE SYSTEM BEFORE COMMENCING APT

Check there are no active or old alerts on the OPU screen, i.e.

Push CHECK button

Check Index appears Check Sensors, Image, Audio and Mediums

Check all sensors, Sentence type is correct and Confirm the S & X Band Radar and ECDIS

Communication within one minute appears images Main and Sub are seen.

Once checked Click on Good, after all the sensor checks and image checks are completed press
Check and go on to do the audio and medium checks.

Check all microphones connected and after Confirm the recording mediums are available

Checking click on Good and have 48 hours and 720 hours of data. Click
Good.

Save

Clear

Click the Check Tab and save the results, this will be in the VDR report you will download later.

(Never click on the home tab during this procedure you will delete all results and must restart)
