ABOUT THE TEXT:

Real Monsters is an ongoing personal project of Toby Allen, a freelance illustrator living in the UK. It explores mental health through character design.
The project aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and aims to educate about lesser-known conditions. The characters included are
inspirations from or references to fairy tales, ancient mythology, anime, manga, Pokémon and other video games.
