1. Instructions

1.1 Safety Precautions


The Service Manual introduces the installation and diagnostics of this instrument.
Maintenance personnel should read and fully understand this manual and follow all
the precautions and warnings in this Manual. CKIC assumes no responsibility for any
accident or damage caused by failure, or use in disregard of instructions in this
Manual.
Maintenance personnel shall have professional technical training by CKIC and have
the skill to complete the relevant operations under the guidance of the Manual.

1.1.1 Safety of Electricity


 Ensure the equipment is well grounded. Do use three-phase plug and three-phase
socket. Do NOT change the original standard power cord.

 The thunder and lightning may cause a risk on you. Do not operate this equipment
during thunderstorm and it must be disconnect from facility power and external
internet wire.

 Do NOT operate the equipment together with high-power electrical equipment by one
power socket, lest it may result in unstable voltage.

 Do NOT plug out any component or cord before power-off.

 Regularly check the power cord and power plug and make sure they are in a good
condition and pressed by other components.

1.1.2 Safety of Gas Supply


 The gas required should be 99.5% pure oxygen. No electrolytic oxygen is allowed.

 Regularly check the gas regulator. The pressure in cylinder should not be less than 4
Mpa.

 Pressure in charging oxygen bomb should be not more than 3.2 MPa. Perform a gas
check to oxygen bomb and cylinder.

1.1.3 Safety of Equipment


 New oxygen bomb or the one with replaced components (bomb, bomb head,
closure ring) can only be used after 20.0 MPa hydraulic proving test.
 Regularly check the strengthening components of oxygen bomb, including thread
between closure ring and bomb, connecting parts of inlet valve, exhaust valve,
electrodes and bomb. Repair the oxygen bomb and perform hydraulic proving test
when visible wearing or loosening occurs.

Perform 20.0 MPa hydraulic pressure test to oxygen bomb periodically. To ensure safe
operation, please stop using the oxygen bomb and have hydraulic pressure test as well
as thread test when any of the following circumstances occurs.
1. Used for less than 4 years and it’s been over 2 years since previous test.
2. Used for over 4 years and it’s been more than a year since previous test.
3. Used for more than 5000 times since previous test.
4. Visible wearing closure ring.
When closure ring is placed right above the bomb, the closure ring falls more than two
threads without clockwise rotation.

Note:
When the same type of oxygen bombs is used but in different design, each bomb should
be used as a complete unit. The exchange of oxygen bomb components may result in
severe accident in operation.

1.2 Caution Symbols

1.3 Package
After receiving instrument, please check the packing and items in your package. For any
damage or lack of components, please contact forwarder and CKIC to confirm
responsibility. The packing list for C5808 is as follows.

2. Introduction

2.1 Features
The main technical features and unique functions of 5E-C5808/5E-C5808J are as
follows:

 Automatic oxygen charging and discharging, air pressure examination, and oxygen
vessel leakage detection.

 Automatic oxygen vessel recognition and anti-forgery detection.

 Automatic water volume measurement and leakage detection.

 Integrated structure.

 Two-way temperature control. Able to realize cooling and heating.

 Set temperature control target automatically.

 Electric leakage and overheating protection.

 Only 8 min for single sample analysis.

 Filtering capability for the water of the whole system.

 Equipped with laser ignition function.

 Touch screen with the brand new user-friendly operation interface.

2.2 Specifications

2.3 Working Environment


1.Ambient temperature: 15~30°C; Relative humidity ≤80%.
2.No intense vibration, dust, strong electromagnetic interference or corrosive gas from
ambient.
3.Keep a separate room for analysis. Do NOT conduct other tests in the same room.
4.Keep room temperature as constant as possible. During an analysis, the temperature
variations cannot exceed 1°C and no strong air convection, heat source or fan is allowed.
5.The test room preferably faces north lest it should be exposed to sunshine. Or keep the
calorimeter away from direct sunshine.
6.A stable power source (220±22V/50±1Hz) should be equipped for the analysis room.
Or prepare with a good UPS or regulated power source with power not lower than 1000
W.

2.4 Structure

The structure of the instrument is as shown in figure 2.1 and 2.2, including the following
function modules:
1. Oxygen vessel recognition area: where to identify the vessel with the chip produced
by CKIC. The oxygen vessel not produced by the CKIC shall be unable to identify.
2. Measuring cup: it is inside the measuring cup cover and used to fix the volume of the
water in can.

3. Water filling area: where to add the water to the instrument. Distilled or deionized
water is required. The maximum amount of added water is about 9 litres, which is about
110%. Please add it according to the actual water shortage of the instrument. Under
normal circumstances, when the water is more than 50%, analysis can be conducted.
4. Filter: it is inside the water tank and able to filter impurities in the system waterways.
Generally, the filter should be cleaned after the use of 6 months.
5. Water level window: it is used to observe the water level of the instrument. If the water
level exceeds the visual range of the window, the water level is about 100%, and the
water level is about 50% if it is in the middle of the water level window.
6. Power button: it is the self-reset switch. In the shutdown status, press for about 1
second to start. In the boot status, press for about 3 seconds to force shutdown. General
shutdown can be performed on the software operating interface.
7. Power inlet: connect the three-core power cord. The power supply shall be AC 220V
and shall be well grounded.
8. Exhaust port: it is used to discharge the exhaust from the oxygen vessel and shall be
connected with the exhaust pipe. Combined with the exhaust treatment device or
collector. It can also be exhausted to the outdoor if allowed.
9. Air source joint: it is the inlet of high pressure oxygen. Please use the special oxygen
pipe and joint provided by CKIC.
10. Jacket exhaust port: when it needs to drain the system water, the jacket water is
excluded through this port. Please use the special drainage connector assembly
provided by CKIC.
11. Tank exhaust port: when it needs to drain the system water, the tank water is
excluded through this port. Please use the special drainage connector assembly
provided by CKIC.

The gas circuit of C5808/C5808J calorimeter is consistent with that of 5E-CYZ. It consists
of 5 air valves, 1 oxygen charging head with oxygen filling and exhaust function, and air
pressure sensor as shown in Figure 2.3.

The water circuit of 5E-C5808/C5808J as shown in Figure 2.4 includes jacket, can, cover,
tank, measuring cup, jacket inlet valve, measuring cup inlet valve, can inlet valve, jacket
and can inlet pump, jacket circulation pump, can outlet pump. The voltage of jacket and
can inlet pump and jacket circulation pump is 220V, and that of others is 24V.
The volume of tank is 9L, and the volume of jacket is 1L.

2.5 Electric Circuit


Circuit connection starts from the main board, and the core is in the main board (which is
divided into bottom plate and core plate), as shown in Figure 2.5. This main board is an
universal board,which could be applied to other instruments produced by CKIC.
C5808/C5808J only adopts the partial function of the main board, so the interfaces are
not all used. The interfaces used by C5808/C5808J is as shown in Table 2.1.
Take the J01 row interfaces in the top left corner of main board for example (as shown in
Figure 2.5), C5808/C5808J uses PWM1, PWM3 and PWM5, which are connected to
lifting motor driver U5-PUL-, stirring motor U7-blue PWM and lifting motor driver U5-
DIR-, respectively.

The wiring of power module is independent from the main board as shown in Figure2.6.
Starting from the socket, enter the leakage protection switch first, then the power button,
and enter the relay JDQ1 in parallel. The relay is controlled by the main board, and then
enter the switching power supply. When turning the power supply on by power button,
the switching power supply is energized and the main board is activated. After that, the
relay JDQ1 will be controlled to close. Therefore, the power button looses and the
switching power supply will not be cut off. The connection mode realizes the function of
cutting off power supply by software control.

At the same time, the power button also provides a signal to the software to request
power off. The signal interface used is the power button's JI4-I5 (see Figure 2.6).

There are three AC solid state relays, which are connected to the jacket circulation
pump, the water tank circulation pump (the jacket and can inlet pump) and the jacket
heating sheet as shown in Figure 2.7. The relay is dc 24V controlling ac 220V.

The lifting stepping motor driver is consistent with C5508, and the connection mode is also
consistent as in Figure 2.8. However, for accurate positioning of C5808/C5808J, optical
slot positioning is used instead of the microswitch of C5508.

The function of the guide rail module is to extend the wiring, as shown in Figure 2.9. For
example, there are more than ten connectors for grounding. If one wire is tied to more
than ten wires, it is obviously unprofessional and inconvenient to unplug, so the guide rail
is used for extension.

Both air and water valves use dc 24V, as shown in figure 2.10 and figure 2.11. The water
inlet valve of the can is a ball valve.

The refrigeration module, as shown in figure 2.12, is directly connected to the main board.
The cooling sheet has a word side for the cold end, no word side for the hot end. If it
cannot be confirmed, a dry battery can be used to connect the positive and negative poles
of the refrigeration chip to the red line and the black line (cannot be reversed), and touch
the two sides of the refrigeration chip by hand. If the refrigeration chip is not damaged,
there will be one cold side and one hot side, then the cold end can be determined.
The installation of the cooling sheet should be coated with thermal conductive silicon
grease, as thin and uniform as possible. The pressure of screw tightening refrigeration
piece is moderate, and is about 1.5Mpa (1~2Mpa), the whole surface pressure of
refrigeration piece is about 240kg force.

The stirring motor is a new brushless dc motor with feedback. The wiring is shown in figure
2.14.

The wiring of the laser ignition module is shown in figure 2.15. For the details for focusing,
please refer to 3.9.1.

The wiring of ignition wire ignition module (normal ignition) is shown in figure 2.16. Normal
ignition has the ignition wire detection function. If the function is complete, after debugging,
you should change the keyword ListenBombPlace to 1 to enable the function. This feature
allows the instrument to identify if the ignition wire is properly mounted (which can only be
identified when drop in place, thus it is not significant).

2.6 Software

The initial interface is as shown above, including the main barrel menu (as shown in Figure
2.17) and sub-barrel menu (as shown in Figure 2.18). The contents of those menus are
basically the same, which includes Test, Set, and Debug. The only difference is that the
main barrel menu includes Data function. In fact, the data function includes test data for
the entire instrument, not just the main or sub-barrel, so multiple menus are not required.

The menu area contains the function menu of the system, in which the user can select
the required functions. When the user selects each function menu, the corresponding
contents will be displayed in the main display area of the main (sub) barrel for the
convenience of the user to view and operate. Please refer to the following related
sections for detailed instructions.
The system status area is located at the bottom of the main interface (as shown in figure
2.19) and is used to display relevant system information and system time.

3. Installation and Commissioning

3.1 Industrial Tablet Installation and Setting


Industrial tablet will automatically start up when plugged in (this function is set by the
manufacturer, otherwise it needs to be set in the BIOS Set).

1. Installation of the Industrial Tablet


This step could be skipped if the software has been installed when leaving factory.
The first time you turn on the tablet, you will see the following drawing, which
indicates that the device is a new machine. We need a series of settings for the
device to work properly and comfortably.
As shown in figure 3.1, we need to select the contents in the red boxes. Generally,
Set the country and the language as needed. Of course, it can be adjusted later.

Click Next to show the interface as in Figure 3.2.

Click “Use Express Setting” to accept update.

This device does not directly provide win10 system legitimate registration code. It needs
network automatic registration. Therefore, to activate the win10 system, it requires
networking. Wifi is recommended. If there is no connection at present, click "Do this later"
and deal with the problem later.
Then, accept the agreement.
Then, the interface requiring the account name and password will appear. Fill in the
account name with "csky" and password shall not be input.

Wait a few minutes, then enter the common win10 interface.
2. Settings
The system shall sleep in 10 minutes in default and requires a mouse or keyboard to
wake up, but there is no mouse keyboard! So you should first set it to never sleep
(otherwise you'll just have to unplug and reboot). The operation is shown in figure 3.4:

Enter Windows Settings, select Power & sleep, and select Never as shown in the red box.
Set the portrait screen in the same interface as shown in the Figure 3.5.

The USB flash drive auto-play function is turned off to avoid the pop-up box caused by
inserting USB flash drive.

In order to control user operations, you need to disable the Win10 tablet edge sliding
gesture. The operation is as follows:
1. Enter regedit in the Cortana search bar and press enter to enter the registry editor.
2. Locate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\EdgeUI
Note: users without EdgeUI items need to manually create, you can click the right mouse
button on Windows, select new → item, and then rename to EdgeUI.
Create a new DWORD (32-bit) value in EdgeUI, rename it AllowEdgeSwipe, and keep the
numeric data as the default "0".

This change takes effect after the computer is rebooted. To restore the edge slide
gesture, change the AllowEdgeSwipe data to "1" and restart the computer.

Set the startup screen in tablet mode as in figure 3.9.

3.2 Settings before APP Installation


In order to increase users' touch screen experience, this software is APP mode, that is,
smart phone or Pad mode. Installation is different from desktop software.
First, you need to set the system to developer mode (because the software is not in
Microsoft store) before the software can be installed as in figure 3.9. Select Developer
Mode. To confirm, select Yes.

If the tablet system is not activated, some functions, such as interface diagram changes,
touch keyboard pop-ups, may not be used.

3.3 APP Installation


Use Windows PowerShell, the new super terminal of Windows 10, to install the program.
Put the installation package into C:\user\. Then long press the file path and copy the
path (useful later).

Right click the App installation file c5808_app2_1.0.*.0_x86.appxbundle, right click (long
press for right click) to select properties, select digital signature, select "kevy8" in the
signature list, click details, view the certificate, and click install certificate. Select the local
computer, pop up a confirmation, select put all certificates in the following storage, click
browse, and select the second line "trusted root certificate authority" as shown in Figure
3.10 and 3.11.

Click Next after confirmation to complete the certificate installation.

The installation license is installed successfully.

2 APP Installation
Open Windows PowerShell.

Open the touch keyboard and select English. Click Windows PowerShell to bring the focus
back to Windows PowerShell. Type add-appxpackage (add one space), long press
Windows PowerShell, paste C:\Users\csky\ c5808_app2_1.0.*.0_test \Dependencies\x86
path.
First, install Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.1.3.appx ;
Then, install Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4.appx;
Finally, install Microsoft.NET.VCLibs.x86.14.00.appx.
The installation files are entered as follows:
add-appxpackage C:\Users\csky\C5808_App2_1.0.*.0_Test\
Dependencies\x86\Microsoft.NET.VCLibs.x86.14.00.appx
"Add-appxpackage" is the installation keyword.
C:\Users\csky\C5808_App2_1.0.*.0_Test\Dependencies\x86\Microsoft.NET.VCLibs.x86.
14.00.appx is the installation package path.
The above 3 files only need to be installed once in the tablet (software version upgrade
does not need to be reinstalled).
Then input:
add-appxpackage
C: \Users\csky\C5808_App2_1.0.*.0_Test\C5808_App2_1.0.*.0_x86.appxbundle
Where * represents the version number. Use the Tab key when installing. The Tab key
can be typed with only the first letter to produce the full name. As shown in the picture.
Click Enter to install.

If you have installed different versions of c5808_app2_1.0.*.0_x86.appxbundle, there


may be conflicts and the installation fails. The installation failures are as follows:
1) the higher version has been installed, then install the lower version.

3.4 APP Automatic Startup


Put wumin.bat in
C:\Users\csky\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
If you don't have a wumin.bat batch file, make one. Create a text file called wumin.txt
and copy the following:

3.5 Shutdown Settings


You can turn off the tablet in software interface, but must install a driver to fulfill it.
Click vc_redist. exe (provide another exe installation file). After installation, you will have
the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 RC Redistributable(x86) item in the program.

3.6 APP Configuration Modification


The configuration path is in:
C:\Users\csky\AppData\Local\Packages\csky_cr98wsyddebhr\LocalState\Setparak.ini
The name of the csky_cr98wsyddebhr folder is automatically generated by compilation,
and the names of the latter half may differ between compilers.
If it is not visible in AppData, check the hidden folder in the folder menu -> view.
Refer to Configuration File Parameters Description for configuration file parameters, in
which:
debug_permission as 0 is in non-debugging state. You cannot debug ignition, cannot
debug isothermal surface closure. If debugging is needed, it should be changed to 1.
After debugging, it should be changed to 0 again.
ListenBomb 0 is listening for oxygen bomb identification. If it cannot be identified,
analysis shall not be conducted. If the oxygen bomb identification function is complete,
the default value should be 0, otherwise 1.
The ListenBombPlace default 0 means not listening for the bomb's location. The function
is currently only applicable to common oxygen bombs. If the C5808 with ignition wire
and this function is complete, the configuration should be changed to 1.
Factory_Number is the instrument number. After debugging, the instrument number
needs to be filled in when the nameplate is printed.

3.7 APP Multilingual Settings


In C:\Users\csky\AppData\Local\Packages\csky_cr98wsyddebhr\LocalState\
Create Translate.txt. It contains all the interface character variables. Set the
corresponding character of the variable to any language character, and then select the
language "Other" in the program interface -> setting. Please refer to "multi-language
configuration parameters instructions" for details.
Note that the text length and font size selection after the translation, the language
characters must be text inputable.

3.8 Network Connection and Settings


This tablet controls the salve computer by network. There are the following situations
that need to change the tablet system IP, or the lower computer motherboard IP:
1. This instrument is required to be connected to the user network printer.
2. This instrument is required to access the user's data upload management system.
3. This instrument is needed to access the user's balance data management system.

Connection Operation:
1. If it is a single-control instrument, directly connect to the laboratory LAN through the
network cable from the back cover, such as switch or router, and then change the
settings of the external network card IP of the tablet system and the gateway set to
adapt to the laboratory LAN.
2. If it is a dual-control device, it is necessary to insert a network cable into each device,
and then connect it to the user's LAN, such as switch or router, and then change the
setting of the external network card IP of the tablet system, and reset the IP of the sub-
bucket lower machine.

3.9 Balance Data Management


After the connection with the laboratory LAN is completed, copy the plug-in program to
C:\Users\csky (no installation of green program). Open the configuration of the plug-in
and fill in the database path of the configuration with:

The plug-in program is a customized program, which can be connected according to the
customer's needs (charge is required here, but if it is the latest balance management
system of CKIC, there is a ready-made plug-in program, no charge is allowed).
Plugins can be placed in any folder, generally recommended under C:\Users\csky. In
general, you need to set the boot start, create a shortcut to the. exe file
(c5808_datatrans.exe), and cut the shortcut to:

3.10 Dual-Control
Remove the industrial tablet from the sub-barrel and cover it with a plastic tablet model.
Open the left cover plate, remove the main board network cable, insert the network
cable extension line into the main board, change the left cover plate, complete the sub-
barrel hardware state.
Connect the network cable from the back of the main barrel to the back of the sub barrel
network port, or plug into the customer's router or switch, and then access the sub barrel
back network port.
When starting up, first open the sub barrel, then open the main barrel (note: dual control
startup must first open the sub barrel and then open the main barrel), enter the
configuration file:
C:\Users\csky\AppData\Local\Packages\csky_cr98wsyddebhr\LocalState\ Setparak.ini
You need to go to the desktop first. To enter the desktop, follow these steps, as shown
in figure 3.16.

Click "main barrel debugging" and "sub-barrel debugging" to prepare to close the program
illegally (if you can't click if it turns gray, you may not click). At this time, all parts of the
lower machine are closed.Click the x in the red box to close the program illegally.
At this point, you can enter the corresponding folder to change the configuration, or set
the balance connection, tablet IP.
Set up the tablet IP first. In the setting, Ethernet will have two network cards, among which
Ethernet2 IP, the built-in network card of industrial tablet, is generally set as
192.168.18.253, the submask is 255.255.255.0, and the gateway is 192.168.18.254.
External network card, that is, Ethernet card connected to sub-barrel or external LAN,
should be provided according to the customer LAN Settings (if there is a customer LAN,
at least two IP's are available, one for the sub barrel slave computer, and one for the
external network card for the industrial tablet). For example, if the customer LAN segment
is 172.17.21.*** and 172.17.21.253 can be allocated, the external Ethernet card is set to

172.17.21.253, the submask is 255.255.255.0, and the gateway is 172.17.21.254. As

According to the configuration specification, the keyword "Reser_Server_Permit" is
checked to indicate whether to change the IP of the slave computer. 0 is not changed by
default, 1 is changed (the change here is only once, after which the keyword will be
restored to 0). If you want to change, set it to 1.
Since the default IP of the lower computer is "192.168.18.101", it is generally necessary
to change different IP to achieve dual control, such as "192.168.18.102", but if you need
to connect to the customer's local area network at the same time, you need to set the IP
according to the local area network. The keyword "Reser_Server_IP" is the IP number to
set the lower computer. For example, the LAN segment of the customer balance data
management system is 172.17.21.***, which can be assigned to IP172.17.21.102 (note
that IP cannot be assigned automatically in the LAN, otherwise the main bucket cannot
find the sub bucket), set the keyword "Reser_Server_IP" to "172.17.21.102".
Also, set the keyword ShuangTong to 1 to indicate that dual control is enabled. Save and
close as in figure 3.20.

Restart the program C5808_App2, and the sub-barrel status bar will display the successful
setting of the lower machine IP.
If you need to turn off the sub and main barrels, just press the power switch (the lower
machine needs to be restarted, and the setting is valid).
Turn on the sub barrel power supply first, then the main barrel, you can achieve dual
control. It should be noted that for the dual control startup, the connection time of the lower
computer is longer.

3.11 Refrigeration Sheet Installation


The difficulty in the installation of refrigeration sheet is to evenly apply thermal
conductive silicon grease. The method is as follows:

Apply a layer of thermal conductive silicon grease to the refrigeration sheet mounting
groove (the new aluminum cooling block has only one refrigeration sheet mounting
groove). The thickness of thermal conductive silicone grease is about 0.5mm.
Put the word side (cold end) of the refrigeration piece into the slot, and the lead wire shall
follow the direction (generally facing down) of the electronic design. Press the cooling
sheet lightly, and move it up and down from left to right, making the thermal conductive
silicon grease spread evenly (it is not easy to take the cooling sheet again, the cooling
sheet will be damaged). Thermal conductive silicone grease should not overflow the
groove in large quantities, if overflow, it should be erased.
Then apply thermal conductive silicon grease to the non-word (hot end) of the refrigeration
sheet, which is also required to be uniform, with a thickness of about 0.5mm.
The heat transfer surface of the water cooler is pressed against the surface of non-word
(hot end) of the refrigeration sheet, and the upper and lower left and right micro
displacement is carried out to spread the thermal conductive silicon grease evenly.
Tighten the spring screw.
The best compression strength of the refrigeration sheet is 1.5mpa ± 0.5mpa, and the
pressure can be properly adjusted with a pressure wrench.

3.12 Heating Sheet Installation


The difficulty in the installation of the heating sheet is to evenly attach the heating sheet
to the jacket cavity. The non-adhesive parts of the heating sheet shall be coated with
thermal conductive silicon grease (some of the heating sheets are completely adhesive,
in this case, the thermal conductive silicon grease shall be ignored), which shall not
produce obvious bubbling, especially the adhesive parts.
Finally, lay the insulating sponge and fix it with the fastening sleeve.

The lay direction and lead are shown in the figure, and the lead direction is based on the
standard that no pulling force is generated.Then apply insulated cotton, as shown in figure

3.13 Requirements on Sealant and Silicone Grease Coating


C5808 calorimeter has several requirements for sealing glue and silicone grease. The
purpose is fastening, waterproofing, lubrication. The following pink represents the
sealing glue, light blue represents the silicon grease.

The laser oxygen vessel lens holder needs sealing glue. It is required that the
transmittance plate be fixed tightly and sealed horizontally (oxygen bomb placed
horizontally). The key is not to contaminate the transmittance plate center. Use
transparent or translucent silicone. Execute according to the requirements of the
drawing.
For oxygen vessel RF chip sealing, fix the RF chip tightly and in the right direction. Use
transparent or translucent silicone. Execute according to the requirements of the
drawing.
The oxygen vessel sealing ring is coated with silicone grease for lubrication, which shall
be thin and uniform. It is forbidden to be coated with silicone grease beyond the sealing
ring range. Use high temperature silicone grease. Execute according to the
requirements of the drawing.

The fixing ring and can assembly is a key component that requires sealing and aesthetics.
The sealing glue of the outer ring is required to form an chamfered angle with a uniform
surface. Inner ring seal requires seamless treatment and even surface; The inside also
needs to be glued tight. The sealing ring shall not be coated with silicone grease beyond
the sealing ring position. Use transparent or translucent silicone. Execute according to the
requirements of the drawing.

3.14 Exchange Laser Ignition and Common Ignition


Although laser ignition and common ignition are two different models, respectively 5E-
C5808J and 5E-C5808. But they do a lot of compatible design.
Only the two cover assemblies are mechanically inconsistent.
Only transformers are different on electronic circuits, as shown in FIG. 2.15 and FIG.
2.16 in chapter 2.5.

Laser ignition includes laser source, constant current source and laser oxygen bomb .
Laser tube power is not very high, and parallel light and astigmatism are impossible to
achieve ignition. Therefore, a focusing element is used to focus the laser of the laser tube.
Focusing requires the focus to be near the crucible. See below for details.
[Commissioning]
1. Take a debugged C5808 calorimeter, turn it on to the configuration file and set the user
mode to debug mode, namely debug_permission=1, open the cover, find the constant
current source, and be ready (you can wear sunglasses). In the absence of power, use a
special screwdriver(-), counterclockwise "adjust the current" knob, adjust to the minimum
value (pay attention not to use a strong force, in case of damage).
2. Loosen the laser source fastener by hand; Use special 1mm hexagon screw driver to
loosen the top wire. Hang up the laser oxygen vessel cap and put it into the crucible.
3. Enter the debugging interface and turn on the ignition debugging. At this time, the
software keeps the ignition on (it should be noted that if the constant current source is not
adjusted to the minimum value, or before unwinding, the ignition debugging cannot be
turned on, otherwise the laser tube will burn out).
4. With a special screwdriver(-), turn clockwise the "adjust current" knob, slowly increase
the current (pay attention not to use the strong force, in case of damage), until it displays
as about 0.A and laser lights on.
5. Slowly twist the focusing part by hand and observe whether the focus falls into the
crucible. The closer the focus is to the center of the crucible, the better. The focal point
should be 1mm strip spot with a slightly larger center. The spot is the laser source diagram.
6. Turn off ignition debugging. With a special screwdriver(-), adjust the "adjust current"
knob clockwise to the maximum value (be careful not to use strong force to prevent

damage). Use special 1mm inner hexagon screw driver to tighten the top wire. Tighten the
laser source fastener by hand. Install oxygen bomb positioning device.
7. Put a special ignition piece in the crucible and click ignition in debugging interface.

[Judgement Standard]
The closer the focus is to the center of the crucible, the better. The focal point should be
1mm strip spot with a slightly larger center. Transparent.

3.16 Oxygen Filling and Discharging Head Maintenance


The core component of automatic oxygen charger is the oxygen filling and discharging
head, which is a precision element. It is responsible for discharging exhaust gas which
contains dust, high corrosive gas, and moisture. Those ingredients affect cylinder cavity
and exhaust vent greatly. Thus, it is necessary to maintain oxygen filling and discharging
head regularly.
The structure of oxygen filling and discharging head is shown in Fig 3.32:

The major daily maintenance parts are exhaust joint together with air tube, air cavity
inside cylinder and equipped o-rings 18*1.8 and 2*1.8, thimble and equipped o-rings
16*1.8 and 13.2*1.8, and piston and equipped o-ring 6.7*1.8.

Maintenance Procedures:
Open the cover plate of oxygen filling and discharging head, unscrew three screws, and
disassemble cylinder cavity, middle ring, piston, thimble in sequence. No need to
disconnect the air tube. The disassembly is shown in Fig 3.33.

Clean the dust in cylinder cavity, piston, and middle ring with wet towel or tissue, and then
dry them with tissue or dry towel. Then, replace the damaged o-rings. Apply special high
temperature silicone provided by CKIC to the interior of the cylinder, outer ring of the piston,
inside of middle ring, and the outer ring of thimble. The coating should be as even and thin
as possible. The silicone is used to lubricate and seal, ensuring smooth operation of the
oxygen filling and discharging head.

Attention: to avoid falling or deformation, please gently disassemble and install for the
oxygen filling and discharging head is a precision element. No scratches on cylinder or
piston by sharp objects in case of sealing problems.
