By end of the lesson pupils will be able to:

i) Describe the bar chart with jobs done at home with suitable statements.
OUTCOMES
ii) Listen and answer appropriately to at least 4 friends about the jobs done at home

Pre-lesson: Pupils draw a table with subjects as shown as the sample. In pairs, pupils ask one another what their favourite
subjects are.

Lesson delivery:

1. Pupils are directed to textbook page 21and ask the pupils what they think the children are doing.

ACTIVITIES 2. Each group is given a manilla card. Pupils are going to go around in their groups and take turns asking pupils in
other groups what jobs they do at home.
3. Pupils take notes of the jobs done at home and the number of groups in their exercise books.
4. After all the groups completed, they carrying out the survey, pupils return to their groups to tally up their results
and make a bar chart with the results.

Post-lesson: Two people from each group come forward to present their results.
